Reid and Morgan arrived at the coroner's office, seeing Amanda Walker's body first. "Amanda Walker was shot with a Glock 17, as were the other victims. They were left on their couch and had only been there for a couple of hours, tops," said the coroner.

"Wait, so the women were shot using a Glock 17, that's the gun that we use in the FBI. Morgan, I might be crazy, but I think this is someone who is in or formerly was in the FBI," concluded Reid.

Morgan somewhat agreed with Reid, but come one, there was more than one way to get a Glock 17, it just happened to be the same one used at the FBI. However, it wasn't particularly most people's gun of choice, so this similarity could not be simply overlooked. "Pretty boy, you might be on to something."

The coroner continued. "The victims were shot at point-blank range, around 3-5 feet away from their attacker based on ballistics. Based on where she was shot, she survived around 4 minutes before she eventually died from blood loss."

"Is there any way she could have survived this?" Morgan asked, hopefully. This unsub was bound to strike again, and any chance of the victim staying alive was good.

"It is possible to survive a shot to the stomach, yes, but where these women are shot, paramedics could have never arrived in time. Based on the single torso shot, she was almost too injured to move."

Reid then asked, "Are there any signs of sexual assault on the body?

"No signs of rape, sexual assault, or anything like that. No signs of drugging, or anything. The way the women were murdered- there was nothing that stands out about the way they were killed," the coroner finished, finally."

"Ok, thank you," Reid said, and the two quickly exited.

Rossi and Prentiss arrived at Amanda Walker's house. It was pretty horrifying, blood spatters all along the wall where Amanda Walker had been shot on the couch, and the blood spatters splashed along the couch clearly supported that. Prentiss examined the scene. "Ok, so I'm the unsub. I see Amanda Walker on her couch. She backs up onto her couch and... bang." Prentiss imitated the unsub's actions.

"Looks like our unsub got through the front door. That's our point of entry," Rossi added to Prentiss's previous statement.

"It doesn't look like there were any signs of struggle. I think Amanda Walker was already on the couch when the unsub shot her." Prentiss spoke. "She didn't know her unsub because the unsub had to force their way in."

"He could have also forced her at gunpoint onto the couch. Forcing victims onto the couch could be part of the MO. It might be something the unsub is compelled to do," Rossi contradicted.

"Either way, in all four scenes, the women were on the couch. Something about the couch has gotta be symbolic to our unsub," Prentiss decided. "There were no cameras or alarms. Amanda

Surprisingly, nothing really seemed off about the crime scene. Although that was a really weird thought, for a crime scene, nothing stood out. It was a normal crime scene. The unsub seemed purely mission-oriented.  It was almost like the unsub didn't want to kill.

Everything about this case felt familiar. It felt like something they had experienced before. Prentiss hadn't seen a case like this. Perhaps she was grasping at straws, but this felt strange and far too familiar to shake. It was like seeing someone and you remember seeing them somewhere else. It was a nagging feeling. But she just couldn't remember.

The team regrouped at the local PD, Hotch and JJ already conferencing with the law enforcement. "I'll be back in a minute," Hotch said to the officers, walking over to talk to the other members of the BAU. "Ok, so what did you find out?"

Reid began, "One thing that stood out to me is the weapon of choice. A Glock 17 is the weapon we use here at the bureau, specifically in the BAU. This weapon signifies something to our unsub. If you want to shoot someone, you wouldn't spend $749 on a gun unless it meant something." The team contemplated the decision.

Prentiss followed up on Reid's theory. "Ok, so if a Glock 17 is part of our unsub's signature, and I'm obviously a surrogate for these women, this person is definitely targeting the BAU."

"Ok, so our unsub is killing women resembling Prentiss, forcing them on to the couch, and killing them with a Glock, a weapon that's not exactly your average gun," Rossi said.

"So this son of bitch is blatantly targeting the FBI, especially Prentiss. We have the foundation of the MO, but like Gideon always said-" Morgan knew what Gideon would have said, but Hotch cut him off.

"The why is the most important question."

Garcia and JJ were worrying internally. Though they knew the ins and outs of this job, Prentiss was in danger. They knew she was in danger. Prentiss would never admit to herself that she was in danger, either. She would continue on, never letting anyone know she wasn't ok.

"Garcia, I need you to look for potential victims. This unsub isn't leaving many clues about his identity. Until we can figure out his motive, we won't have any leads about his identity.

"It's gonna be a nightmare when the press gets a hold of this story. There are hundreds of women that fit this unsub's victimology. It doesn't help that the unsub is using a military-grade gun, which means law enforcement members are of interest in this case," JJ contemplated.

"JJ, I want you to keep this story off the press. Panic will set in, and the public doesn't need that right now. I want everyone except Garcia and JJ working on this case. Prentiss, I want you working on the case from headquarters. There's no debating that. Morgan, Reid, start interviewing family members, Rossi and I will interview neighbors. We need to overcompensate for the lack of evidence

The BAU members began analyzing the unsub's behavior. This was the start of a case. However, it wasn't a normal case. This was unlike anything the BAU would have ever seen. It would live in infamy, and it would change their lives.
