~Third Person Pov~
After an eight hour flight it was finally over. A man over the speaker said, "We have now arrived at Jacksonville International Airport." All the passangers including Caitlyn grabbed their luggage from above their seats. She walked down the stairs and heads into the airport. She looked around to see if she could spot Emily. No signs of her. She decided she'd text her.
"Hey where are you Emily."
"I can't pick you up just yet."
"Why."
"I'm shopping but, you can call a taxi."
"Ok."
Caitlyn put her phone in her pocket after calling a taxi. She walked out of the airport and waited for her taxi to arrive. The taxi finally arrived and drove her to the destination. She payed the taxi driver and got out of the cab. She walked up to the door of the beach house. She looked around for cars but no sign.
Caitlyn lifted up the door mat to see the house key. She picked it up and unlocked the door. She dragged her luggage up the stair case to her old bedroom.
She opened the door of her childhood bedroom and instantly it brought back such good memories. She looked around the room looking at her bed to the closet. It was beautiful. She looked out window and stared at the beach sand with waves flowing back and forth. She threw herself onto her old bed. She got a text from Emily.
"Hey I just walked in the door."
Before caitlyn even could think about texting back she ran out her room and, went quickly down the stairs. She ran to her sister and embraced her into a hug. They broke apart.
"Caitlyn I have a present for you in the back seat." Emily said
"Really!" She squealed
Emily nodded. Caitlyn quickly ran to the front door. She walked to Emily's car and opened the back seat door. When she opened she expected to see a present with a bow on it. Instead jumped out of the car was Barry. She wrapped her arms around him.
"Suprise!" He exclaimed
"Barry." She replied
They walked inside the house together. Barry sat his duffel bag down by the front door. Caitlyn and Emily gave Barry a grand tour of the house. It had four bedrooms. One was actually just a guest bedroom. Which would be where Barry was sleeping. After getting settled in Caitlyn decided to make lunch. She was cutting up the vegetables when Barry came up to her and tapped her on the shoulder.
"Barry!" She shrieked
"What did I scare you?" He cheekly said
"Dont you know never to mess with a woman who has a knife." She giggled
"Don't go crazy on me now Cait." He replied
She finished chopping the veggies and poured them into the salad. She set the table and passed out everyones bowl of salad and pasta. After they ate Caitlyn cleaned up the kitchen counter. Barry walked into the kitchen.
"So do you wanna go take a stroll on the beach with me?"
"Sure let me finish up." She replied
"Here let me finish cleaning for you." He said as he used his super speed
Luckily Emily was in her room. So they didn't have to worry about her seeing him. They walked out the door walked down to beach shore. Their hands were intertwined as they walked. They talked and laughed. Barry pulled Caitlyn into the shallow part of the water. She was already soaked. He splashed her with water. Which started a splashing war between the two. They laughed. What seemed like was hour only lasted five minitues. He picked her up and acted like he was gonna drop her in the water.
"Barry stop it!" She screamed as her grip on his neck tightened.
"Fine but, you have to kiss me." He said cheekily
To make him stop she connected their lips and kissed him passionately. He carried Caitlyn back into the house. Emily had came downstairs and saw the two dripping wet. She could only laugh lightly to herself. Emily went to the hall closet and brought to towels for the both of them. Caitlyn went up the stairs to her bedroom to change out of her wet clothes.
She changed into soccer shorts and a big t-shirt. Barry came out of the guest bedroom dressed into some dry clothes as well. They decided to watch a movie in the living room. In the middle of their movie Emily had to go because of some work emergency. So it left just the two of them.
Caitlyn cuddled up to Barry as they watched the movie. A couple hours went by and it was already seven p.m. The movie they just finished credits rolled as they heard Emily walk in the door. She had brought pizza. They sat down at the table and ate pizza and talked. After awhile it was time for them to go to bed . Caitlyn walked up the stairs to her room and Barry gave her a kiss goodnight. She walked into her room and went to bed.
~The Next Day~
Caitlyn wakes up to an amazing aroma coming from downstairs. This brought her back to her childhood. She stumbled out of bed and walked down the staircase. She walked into the kitchen and saw Barry making breakfast. Emily must of headed into work early. Caitlyn walked up to Barry and kissed him on the lips. She poured her coffee and sat down at the dinning table. Barry walked in a few minitues later with two plates in his hands. He sat down and they started eating.
"Barry these are delecious." She said with a mouthful of food
He giggled at the cuteness of it. After they ate Barry did the dishes while Caitlyn went upstairs for a shower. When she was finished getting dressed she walked outside to the backyard. She sat on a pool chair with her sunglasses on. Barry opened the screen door and walked out to the backyard.
Caitlyn didn't seem to see him. She didn't relize it until it was too late, he had pushed her into the pool. Barry burst out into a laughing fit. He calmed himself down and helped Caitlyn out of the pool and, she sat on the pool chair drying herself in the sun. Barry sat in the the pool chair next to her. If only this vacation could last forever?
