Hiding Feelings

Barry's Pov

I woke up this morning feeling overjoyed with happiness. I made a big stack of pancakes and started dancing. I finished my breakfast and headed out the door I went to Jitters and orderd two coffees. One for me and One for Furture Wifu. I flashed to Star Labs without spilling one drop. I went up the elevator into the lobby to be greeted by Cisco and Caitlyn.

Caitlyn says,"Hey Barry".

I replied,"Oh hey Cait how's your morning--I got you coffee by the way".

Caityln said,"You didn't have to do that".

I handed her the warm cup of coffee and we walked down to the Cortex. And I sat down at my desk. My peacful morning was runied by the sudden meta alarm. So I suited up and headed to the location.

When I got there I said, "Cisco theres a guy radating heat, how do I stop him".

Cisco replied,"You need to cool him down obviously, I'm sending Kiler Frost through a breach".

Frost when she arives she says,"Is this a business call or a social call.

Frost saw the meta radating heat and said,"Buisness I see".

She tries to freeze his body but, he knocks her down to the ground. Nobody hurts Caitlyn.
I ran over to see if she was ok, she was knocked out. But still breathing, I started running in the oposite direction and threw a super sonic punch at the guy. He was knocked down so I used this opportunity to put meta cuffs on him. I put him in the pipeline and went back for Cait. When we got back she already changed back to her self. I layed her on the med bed and saw she had a cut and she was bleeding. I carfully wiped away the blood and wrapped it in gaux wrap. I may not be a doctor but I think I did a good job. I watched as she slept, I made a stupid deccision to kiss her on the cheek. I started to hear her wake so, I quickly backed away.

Caitlyn yawned and said,"Barry is that you".

I replied,"Yes its me".

3rd Person Pov

Caitlyn says shocked,"Barry you got hit".

Barry nervously replies,"I'll be fine".

Caitlyn wasn't gonna take no for an answer so she got up and made him lay down. She put some cold gel on the wound and stitched it up. She was always so worrried about him going out there and being reckless. Barry didn't care so much about getting hurt, just as long as everyone else was fine that was all that mattered to him.

Caitlyn then said,"Now your fine".

Barry replied,"Ok I'm gonna go--unless you need me still".

Caitlyn says,"Nope go ahead".

When he walks away she then smiles. She was glad that it wasn't that bad.

Barry's Pov

I walked out of there feeling good, Cait was so amazing. What would I do without her? I walked down to the Cortex picking up my coffee cup from my desk. Relizing how cold it was I decided not to drink it. Cisco walks over to me to talk.

Cisco says,"Hey man be carful, Ralph is stil planning to tell her".

Seeing Raplh walk in I say,"Speaking of the devil".

Raplh asks,"Hey so wheres Caitlyn".

Cisco says nervosly,"You know what--uh -- she's not here".

Ralph then walks out of the room, guessing he went home. After a moment of silence Cisco speaks up,"Barry-- you know I lied to him for you".

I replied,"I know I'm sorry man".

Cisco says,"Well I hate lieing to people even if hes annoying".

I walked out of the room to find Caitlyn. I found her in the med bay talking on the phone. I dont mean to eavesdrop but I heard Caitlyn say,"Ok alright I'll see you tonight--ok love ya". So she has a date then. My heart was crushed but I put a fake smile on and walked in there.

I said,"Got any plans tonight".

Caitlyn replied,"Not really,why?".

I scratched the back of my neck nervously and said,"Well--uh I'm gonna go".

So I flashed out of there all awkward. I went to my apartment and layed down on the couch.

3rd Person Pov

~At Caitlyn's House~

Caitlyn signs,"Ugh I can't find anything to wear".

Caitlyn's sister says,"It's fine were going to the park calm down".

Caitlyn replied,"Emily I'm serious".

Emily says,"So is there someone special gonna be there".

Caitlyn stutters and says,"Nn-oo".

Emily then replies,"Ok sure

So finally Caitlyn setteled on a black skirt and a white fluffy shirt. So they went down the stairs and went to the car. They opened the car door and Caitlyn started to drive to the park. So they parked the car and grabbed their picnic basket and got out of the car. They picked a nice soft area and layed the blanket down. Caitlyn opened the picnic basket and pulled out two sandwiches. They ate their sandwhiches in peace and watched the sunset.

"Caitlyn says,"Sis I'm glad you came into town".

Emily responds,"Me too".

Emily hugged her younger sister Caitlyn and layed her head on her shoulder.

~Barry's Pov~

I see caitlyn at the park hugging someone so I go behind Caitlyn and tap her shoulder. I guess it was kinda creepy since Caitlyn screamed,"BaRRY what the hell".

I said,"Sorry but I was at the park and I saw you soo".

Emily then says,"So this is why you took so long to get ready then".

Caitlyn nervously said,"Yyou-- know what we should be going".

I replied,"Well at least let me help you clean up".

I helped at a normal speed since her friend was here. After we cleaned up I helped carry stuff to her car. We talked on the way there and I found out that Emily is Caitlyn's older sister. I didn't even know that wow. When we got to their car I gave Caitlyn a hug and they left. I flashed to my apartment and got ready for bed.

Anyways did you enjoy this chapter if so tell me in the comments. Btw if your not caught up to at least season four you may be confused on who Ralph is. But, thats ok.
