What First Date?

Third Person Pov

(~Barry's Apartment~)

The water slowly turns off and trickles a little bit. Barry steps out of the shower refreshed and ready for the day ahead. He'd be going on a date with Caitlyn later that day. He was super excited. On any normal friday he got dressed and ran to Jitters. On the way there Barry runs into Iris. What the hell he thought.

Iris says,"H-hey Barry hows life."

Barry replies,"Oh, you know same as always."

Iris says,"Any new girls?"

Barry responded, "No but soon."

Iris replied,"Ok, well I have to get back to work.. see ya later."

Barry walks away thinking to himself. Wonder what she ment by that. He paided for his coffee and headed off to CCPD.

Barrys Pov
As soon as I walked in from the elevator , Captin Singhe handed me big stack of files.

He then said, "Allen get straight to work.. you were late."

Staring at the clock relizing he was right. Iris put me off by thirty minitues. I walked up the stairs straignt to my lab. Super speed cam in handy with work so I sped up the progress. I finished the files around twelve and headed down to turn in the files. After I finished I started for Big Belly Burger to get some food.
I grabbed some for Cisco and Caitlyn cause they most likely haven't ate all day. I entered the cortex with two bags of food and set them on each of their desks. After I ate and chatted with them I ran back to work. After a couple minitues of working Joe walked into my lab.

He said, "Hey Bar how are you."

I replied, "I'm good you."

Joe says,"Iris told me she saw you."

I say,"Oh yeah, she saw me so we talked for a little bit."

Joe replied, "Well I was wondering if you'd like to have dinner tonight."

I responded sadly,"I would love to but, I have a date tonight."

Joe says, "Oh, with who."

I replied, "Caitlyn."

After we finished talking he walked out to get back to work. After a couple hours it was four so I headed back to my apartment building. I went up to my room and unlocked the door. I headed straight for the shower. Since I smelled from all that work I did.

Third Person Pov

Caitlyn walked up to Cisco to talk.

She says, "Hey Cisco I'm not sure about this date."

"Why not", he replied

Caitlyn replied, "I dont know I'm nervous."

Cisco says,"Don't be he said its like a friend date...Also if your that nervous talk to Barry about it."

Caitlyn gave Cisco a hug and said, "Thank you for the advice."

Cisco replied,"Your welcome, he's at Jitters right now."

Caitlyn's Pov

I ran to the elavator and when I got out I unlocked my car and hopped in. I drove as fast as I could. Because of the speed limit. I parked my car in the Jitter's  Parking lot. When I was about to turn off the engiene I thought to myself. The reason I told Barry I didn't feel the same was because I didn't want to get hurt.
But now knowing Barry wouldn't try to hurt me. I felt great. I said quietly to myself that I had this in the bag. I opened the car door and was about to open the Jitter's door when I saw Barry sitting with Iris at a table and drinking coffee. I thought to myself maybe he's just talking to her for a little bit.
Or maybe Iris just sat down at his table. But then they were laughing at some joke. But, then they kissed. I was frozen there in place. Then my emotions took place so I ran to my car crying. Tears kept streaming down my cheeks.
I started the car up and drove home to my house. When I got there I unlocked the door and closed it. I ran into my bedroom crying and fell to the floor.

Sorry, to end it there. This chapter gave me the feels well I was writing it. Some of you may be sad but don't worry. Soon it will be happier but, first we have to get through the sadness and the dramma.
