I wake up happy and dance to some music, fulfilling my usual routine. I feel smooth today. Like I could go out and pick someone up, take them home and have my way with them. Not horny, not lustful, I just feel like that's something I could do. It's a feeling similar to invincibility only it's different, I don't feel like I could do anything I just feel like I would be good at everything. Like I could get anyone, and do whatever I wanted with them simply because I'm me. It's a wonderful feeling and I practically bounce into school. Fuck. I'm back at school. I hated school the first time 'round, I can't believe I'm giving it another shot.

Kellin's at my side chatting away about past christmas breaks since there are only two days left of school, not including today. I watch him intently and chuckle at every word. I didn't even really have a reason, I just woke up feeling amazing. He seemed to enjoy how much attention I was giving his tobogganing story and looks at me as if I were his idol. We're becoming incredibly good friends.

"So yeah, then my sister always pushed me down the hill first so that if there were another jump I would hit it," he finished, chuckling. His smile was infectious and I find myself subconsciously following suit. We arrive in the caf, taking a random table since our usual one was occupied.

"I wish I could've seen that," I say, laughing.

"I did. And trust me, it was hilarious!" he exclaims, laughing loudly and holding his, probably aching, stomach. I had only ever seen him laugh this hysterically once and that was when Mike was dancing and singing to a Fergie song. It was an interesting sight that made me absolutely humiliated to be his brother, yet undeniably proud too. Mike comes over with this Gabe guy and sits across from us, I think he purposely left Kellin and I alone at our side of the table. He still has that weird idea that Kell actually has feelings for me. I still think he's crazy, but a guy can always hope! Not that I like him, because I don't, but he's just so cute and sweet an-and luminescent. Everything's brighter with him around.

"So what were you two talking about that was so funny?" Gabe asks, intrigued. Kellin and I look at each other and with wide smiles and instantly burst back into laughter. It really was a funny story. I can't help but think back on the details and completely lose it.

"Well then," Mike says, looking at us funnily. We take a minute to get over our ourselves and have a few outlaying chuckles before containing it. After that we moved on and talked mainly about our plans for christmas.

That's how the rest of the week went. We all fell into a routine. Kellin and I would go to first period together, talking about whatever came to mind. We would meet up at lunch and quickly got a usual crew going, there are five us. Mike, Gabe, Kellin, Jack and Alex. I fit with them like a puzzle piece. Mike and I had always gotten along famously, so it was no surprise to me that I got along with friends just as easily.

Business was slow in the job department and I've only caught Ben making deals, no transporting. But all in all, life was pretty good.

"Hey," Mike greets me, after knocking on my window.

"Um, hi?" I reply, giving him a weird look.

"Can I drive? And can you hang out at Kellin's? I'm having Shannon over and I kind of want the house to myself."

"Ew. Okay, I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that." I hop out of the car and let him into the drivers seat as I move over to the passenger's seat. I was flicking through channels on the radio when I heard the back door open and close.

"We're free!" Kellin exclaims, his voice sweet as honey. I spin in my seat and raise my arms celebrating with him.

"How come you're not driving today?" he asks, sitting on the edge of his seat so we're a little bit closer to each other.
