Fire And Flame

Chapter Seven

After Y/N was ungrounded by her father, she decided she would find Ace, and start trainning again, but Ace was nowhere to be found, so Y/N had asked Marco to help her with today's session. Ace usually trained Y/N in the forest near her village, but Marco wanted to train her on the beach this time.

"Hey, Y/N! Over here!" Marco shouted.

Your looked over your shoulder an saw the pineapple head waving his hand at you while his feet were in the waves. Y/N walked over to Marco carefully due to her bringing some lunch for the two, so they could train all day without being hungry.

"Hey, Marco! Thank you so much for helping me train today," You said as you hugged Marco.

"You're welcome, Y/N." Marco said returning the hug.

Y/N layed the beach towel down on the sand, so she could put the basket on top of it. Marco took off his shirt, and you took off your skirt and t-shirt revealing you both in your swim gear.

"I decided we should train you here because I doubt Ace has taken you to the ocean to test out your Aqua Aqua Fruit powers, and I want to see how much progress you have made within the past two weeks training with Ace." Marco said.

You were excited to train in the sea today. The thought never really crossed your mind of training alone out in the sea, so this would be a first, but very exciting! You were already able tochange what ever part of your body you wanted into water, so you were more at the novice stage rather than newby,

"Alright, Y/N. I want you to create a giant hand made by the water in the sea, then sit on it, and try to control the sea." Marco said as he stepped out of the sea and made his way to the sand to spectate your preformance.

Creating the giant water hand was easy, but controlling the sea?! It was harder than Y/N had thought, thus she didn't even know where to start. Marco had suggested that she try meditating and feel the power come to her. More like Y/N sat ontop of a water hand for five hours straight meditating, hoping something would happen.

"Ugh! Marco I don't think I'm doing this right! I've sat here for five hours waiting for the power to come to me, and yet I feel nothing!" Y/N exclaimed

The petite girl was fustrated with herself. How did her mother do this? If only she was here to help guide her down the right path.

""But, Y/N, your eyes are glowing," Marco said as he looked up from his book.

"Yeah I know. It happens when I get mad." She said.

"Maybe when your eyes glow, it might mean you have a better chance at controlling your devil fruit power? There has to be a reason to why your eyes do that when you feel a certain emotion, so why don't you test that theory?" Marco said as he closed his book to watch you preform.

Y/N decided to take Marco's advice, so she continued meditiating. The sky started changing colors, while the currents started to get agressive. The currents started forming around Y/N. It looked like there was a water tornato behind her. Lighting shot down from the sky, and mixed with the water tornato. Marco was speechless. How could she hold so much power without realizing it? Y/N opend her eyes to reveal a bright ray of teal in her eyes. Way brighter then the color her eyes were before. Y/N's hair rapidly danced with the wind caused by the tornato behind her. The ocean started glowing as Y/N stepped off the water hand she created, also clearing a path for her to walk. In an instant, Y/N was right behind Marco, as the storm in the ocean calmed down. The clouds dissapeard revealing the sun, the ocean stopped glowing, and the path for Y/N dissapeared.

"Y-Y/N. That. Was. AWESOME!!" Marco shouted as he picked up the petite girl, and swung her around.

"AHH! MARCO PUT ME DOWN!" Y/N shouted with the riled up pineapple head.
