Y/N x Ace Oneshot

Hello everyone! It's been snowing all day where I live and it's all I've been able to think about, so I've decided to make a winter oneshot for you all! Chapter six will be out either today or tomorrow depending on when I get the planning for it done! I hope you all are safe and stay warm!

"Ace!"
"Psst....Ace!!" Y/N whispered yelled at her passed out boyfriend. She should have never took him to dinner last night. He passed out in the food again, and she had to carry him home since Marco was busy doing god knows what.

Ace wouldn't budge no matter how many times the small girl would yell at him, so she had to do what she does best, and use her Aqua Aqua fruit powers. She ran to the bathroom and grabbed a bucket under the sink, then used her devil fruit to make ice cold water. Ace hated the cold weather and cold water, so this would have to wake him up. Once the bucket was full, a giant water hand sprouted into the air, and carried the cold water over to the king bed the two shared. Y/N steadied the bucket over Ace's sleeping figure, then she poured it. Ace immediately jotted awake.

"What the hell, Y/N?!" Ace whispered yelled as he shivered in the puddle of ice cold water that formed on the bed.

"It's not my fault you're a heavy sleeper, and wouldn't wake up. Anyways! Look outside! It's snowing!!" Y/N exclaimed as stars were shown in her eyes.

Y/N ran outside to the balcony to stare at the flakes dancing in the air. She loved the snow. As a child, Y/N rarely got to see the snow due to where she lived which was a tropical island, so moments like this made her want to explode.
Ace put on a shirt and went to find his jittery girlfriend on the balcony. He stared at her for a couple of minutes, as she squealed at the sight of the snow falling, and covering the ground. How could she be so cute without even doing something drastic? All she was doing was admiring the snow, and she looked like she came out of a story book. God did she look beautiful when she looked at something she loved.

"Get dressed!" Y/N demanded "We're going to play in the snow!"

"Uhm...What?" Ace said stunned by the petite girls declaration.

"I said we're going out in the snow, so get dressed," Y/N repeated.

"But I don't like the snow!" Ace whined.

"Oh stop being a baby! Your devil fruit power is fire, so you can warm yourself up when you get cold!" Y/N yelled back at Ace as she changed into the right attire for cold weather.

Ace pouted for a few moments before giving in. He then walked into their shared bedroom to find his girlfriend in his baggy winter coat.

"I had to borrow your coat since mine are all getting cleaned," Y/N said as she closed eye smiled

Ace bent down and pressed his lips to hers. Y/N wrapped her hands around his neck, then wrapped her legs around his waist.

"W-What was that for?" Y/N asked as she gasped for air, while her cheeks were a bright red.

"Well, it's not every day my girlfriend wears my clothes. But every time she does, she looks sexy as hell," Ace whispers into Y/N's ear.

His hot breath against her ear and neck caused her to have goose bumps, as her face turned fifty shades darker (aha get it ;) Yes there was a pun intended)

Ace always knew how to rile her up like this without even moving a muscle. Y/N then froze her hands, and placed them on Ace's back. Ace immediately dropped her and fell to the ground groaning.

"Babe! What the heck was that for?" Ace whined.

"We're supposed to be out in the snow, not f-flirting!" Y/N struggled to get out.

Ace got up and locked eyes with you. A serious expression made its way up to his face, as you two had a stare down. (If Marco were here he would comment that they should get a damn room, and chuck a snowball at Ace's head XD) Y/N put her hands on Ace's face, so he would stop staring at her. He knew she hated it when he looked at her like that. Ace pulled Y/N's hands off his face, and planted a kiss on the palm of her hand.

"Alright, I'll meet you outside, Babe." Ace said in defeat, then walked into the bathroom with his clothes for the day.

Y/N was dumbfounded for a moment trying to comprehend what just happened, then she ran to living room, slid on her grey boots, and ran outside. The snow was really deep. It was so deep It went all the way to Y/N's hips.

"So much for me wearing fuzzy socks today," Y/N whined.

A loud thump was heard by the front door. Y/N threw her head to the front door to see what happened, and sure enough it was Ace. He then used his flare flare fruit to melt the snow around him and make a trail, so he could walk.

"HAHA! Ace couldn't even make it off the steps without using his devil fruit!" Y/N exclaimed.

"Shutup! For your information, I didn't even want to come out here in the first place!" Ace rebutdtaled back.

Once Ace had safely reached Y/N, he threw her over his shoulder and ran for the giant field outside of their house.

"ACE PUT ME DOWN BEFORE YOUR CLUMSY ASS TRIPS AND WE BOTH GO DOWN!!" Y/N shouted

"I've got to get payback somehow, sweetie," Ace said back sassily.

Once they had made it to the field, Ace started climbing a giant tree.

"Why are you climbing a tree now?" Y/N asked.

"You'll see," Ace said

Once Ace had reached the top of the tree. He sat you down on a sturdy branch, then sat beside you. He made sure to hold you close to him so you wouldn't fall.

"Why are we at the top of a tree, Ace?" Y/N asked

Ace then gently grabbed her head and positioned it in front of them. It was beautiful. They had a perfect view of the giant field on the side of their house, and of the ocean. The snow was the cherry on top. Everything was silky white, and to top it off snow was falling from the sky. It truly was a remarkable experience, especially with Ace by your side.

"I-It's beautiful, Ace," You blurted out.

"I know, that's why I wanted to take you here! This scenery is beautiful, but it's even more beautiful when a beauty like you is here to see it too," Ace said as his signature smirk formed on his angelic face (totally not me fangirling over him in the middle of a sweet cheesy moment)

Later~

Once the two of you got back home, Ace was a popsicle. He was so cold he couldn't use his flare flare fruit to warm himself up, so you had him go take a nice warm shower while you made hot chocolate for the two of you. While you waited for Ace, and finished the hot chocolate, so you decided to grab the book you were currently reading and go sit by the fireplace. You were almost done with it, but it made you sad that such a great story has to end. Why couldn't it last forever?
As you started getting lost in your book, you felt muscular arms wrap around your waist.

"Finally warm again?" You asked him

"Yes, I am. Now I can keep us both toasty." Ace said as he held you close, and put his head on top of yours. You loved embracing him at the end of the day, especially one so fun. Ace was the perfect medicine for anything. Ace was your remedy.

(Yes, I've listened to Clarity to many times this week 🤦‍♀️😂)
