Your POV

Before you knew it, it was time for the sports festival. When leaving the house that morning, your father told you that even if you tired your best, you would always lose.

You wanted to prove him wrong.

Only while waiting in the waiting room before the games began did you realize your great mistake. There would be people cheering, smiling, and laughing. You would be in pain every second of using your quirk. While planning around your weakness, Mina leaned in and whispered," Well wasn't that tense?!"

You turned to look at her in the eyes, greeting her with a confused look.

Apparently you had missed the whole Deku vs. Toderoki tension.

As you got up from your seat, you noticed many of your classmates with worried faces. You sighed and walked onto the field when they called your class's name.

"And for the the student pledge we have Hiroako Akiko!" You made your way up onto the stage, leaned into the microphone, sighed and stated,"I choose Katsuki Bakugo to fill in for me."

A small smile formed on your lips as you walked of the stage. You knew Bakugo would say something stupid, that would end up cracking you up.

"I just want to say, I'm gonna win." while some students were rather annoyed by his cockiness, you couldn't take it anymore. You burst out laughing, you found it even funnier knowing how brutally honest he was being.

Your POV

Our first challenge selected was the obstacle course. From what Midnight described, I had a decent plan.

I'd use my quirk in short burst, I was a pretty fast runner anyway.

The count down started, and almost immediately a ton of students got frozen by Toderoki's ice. Luckily I managed to avoid it, but I noticed there were many unfortunate students. I groaned," Change of plans." I muttered as I started breaking the ice on orange haired girl beside me. As some students raced forwards, I helped the others get out of the ice. Usually I wouldn't do stuff like this, but I knew enough to know that ice can be super dangerous.

I wouldn't want one of my dear classmates to have charges for murder.

As I tried my best to free some students, I heard a loud thud. I looked over to see the robot things falling. They seemed to have ice on them. I understood what Toderoki had done.

"You're so cold Toderoki." I mumbled, then I laughed at my little joke.

I continued freeing students when Present Mic boomed," Hiroako Akiko from Class 1-A has stayed behind at the entrance to free students. Has she given up?" I heard some boos from that stands, I used that as my chance to activate my quirk. It was only for a second, but the second was enough. I had decided to use intelligence to formulate my plan. I would need to start running in two minutes for it to work.

Mr.Aizawa came to my save saying that it was unlikely. The time ticked down as I freed the last student.

Then I took off. Using my speed I quickly entered what Present Mice called "The Fall Zone."

I had been listening to every little detail about what was being announced. I just had these other kids go first, so they could do the hard work. Now that I knew all the courses and how people completed them, this would be a piece of cake.

There weren't to many people here, if someone didn't want to do this, they would have given up before it started. I used my quirk to jump rock to rock which felt ok. At the start, I was much closer to the joyful audience, their happy feelings could easily be felt when I was close to the entrance. Now that I was closer to some discouraged students, it wasn't to painful.

"Hiroako Akiko from the hero course finally decided to take off. Within two minutes, she has already arrived to the third and final phase!"

A bunch of students turned their head to look at me as they tried not to step on land mines. Once agin, I used my intelligence to see if my next crazy plan would work. I saw Toderoki, Bakugo, and Deku racing towards the finish. My quirk told me I wouldn't, be able to please in the top three. That's ok with me though.

I would have to wait 30 sendond until my plan could work, so I just sat on the ground to spend the time.

When I saw that everyone was lined up where I needed them, I jumped onto the first person's head. I think it was a kid from class 1-B. I jumped onto students to avoid the land mines. I was out of there in no time.

I few students were ahead of me as I ran closer to the finish, it became very painful. I gripped the side and stopped using my quirk, the sudden boost of pain relief helped as me ran past Yayorozu and....Mineta??!

Deku, Bakugo, and Toderoki had already completed it. I was a few yards away from the finish line, but there were a couple of people a head of me. Using a quick surge of my own quirk, I raced infront of of one of them, and crossed the finish line.

5th place isn't to bad I chuckled as I sat down.

"Hiroako Akiko waited at the start for more then 3/4 of her time, but she managed to get 5th place." MANAGED?! What does that mean, Present Mic has no beilif in me.

"She's also sitting on the floor right now, she must be super tired!"

' that's it' I thought, pulling up my sleeve.
