Your POVThe day after the fight we were called to an assembly outside. You hadn't participated in the fight, but you secretly followed the two and watched them fight. You then revealed yourself halfway through All Might explaining the whole One for All thing. They were extremely startled, but you assured them that you already knew most of this. When Mr.Aizawa found out your role in this, he was angry. Not as angry as with the boys, but he gave you cooking for the next week.
"Hi there, it's the adorable and small animal you know you all love, Princapal Nezu!" Mr.Nezu continued.
"You may notice the fur I'm so fond of has deteriorated in quality, I haven't been taking care of it. This is something that can happen to humans too. Even if you eat a balanced diet full of vitamins and minerals, you won't have a mane of luscious locks unless you're getting lots of sleep." he spoke. I could see where it was going.
"That's the secret. Disturbances in your resting patterns are terrible for your hair. So if you want to improve your fur quality, make sure to get plenty of sleep. My own sleep cycle has been upset by the incidents that took place over summer vacation, which I'm sure everyone here knows already. We lost a pillar of hope. The ramifications of it appeared faster than I could have ever imagined and there will likely be more chaos throughout our world in the near future. In particular, this will be most apparent to those of you studying in the hero course." he dragged on. A bit later he mentioned something called hero work studies, but I stopped paying attention after that. I only looked up again at the speaker when Mr. Hound dog started barking about how angry he was about the fight.
When we finally got back to the class, Tsu asked about the hero work studies which were mentioned at the assembly.
"I was planning on talking more about those at a later date, but I guess telling you now is more logical. To put it simply it's work outside of class. Like the work you did at the pro hero agencies as interns, only closer to the real thing." he explained. This confused Uraraka, she asked about why she worked so hard in the sports festival or something.
Mr.Aizawa then went on to share more,"You'll be using your connections from the festival in your hero work study. This isn't part of your normal class work. This means those of you who weren't scouted at the sports festival, will have a hard time lining one up I'm afraid. Originally individual students were recruited on their own, but there is lots of competition as lots of hero's try to recruit U.A students. So this is kinda how things ended up. Good enough Ochaco?" He questioned.
"Now that you have your provisional licenses, you can help in longer periods of time. Gaining your hero licenses in your first year hasn't been common until now. Some of you might have a chance to join a hero work study. You'll get more info later, you have more important things to worry about." Mr.Aizawa then walked out of then room. I was confused what he meant until I looked at the clock and realized what time it was.
"It's time for english!!!" Present Mike thundered, running through the door.
A few days later, three new students were introduced to our class. They were called the big three, and were supposed to be super powerful. I had heard about them once or twice, but not enough to really know much about them.
Then....we were allowed to fight one member.
When we got to the gym, the blue haired, anxiety ridden boy talked to Mirio.
"Think about how bad it would look if someone suffered permanent damage and could never recover." Amajiki warned.
My classmates doubted his seriousness, but he didn't really look like the type to mess with us.
The purple haired girl, Nejire, warned him to be carful while she messed with Mina's horns.
Although we had gone through quite a lot as a class, I believed our chances of taking him down were low. He's a third year with more than 2 more years of training in his quirk. We also have no clue how his quirk works and his weaknesses. And that's when the fun began.
The close combat team gathered, ready to fight, but I decided to hang back until I knew about him.
I was startled when I saw him naked, but tried my best to ignore what was dangling down.
Jiro was taken down first; my other class mates soon followed. I could tell his quirk allowed things to pass through him and him to pass through things, a darn good quirk. I couldn't imagine what his horrible drawback would be.
After he took down about 10 of my classmates. I really had no clue what to do, I felt trapped. The only place I think he couldn't surprise attack you from was up in the air.
Thankfully Uraraka hadn't been taken out so I whispered to her.
"Can you try and make us float? It's my only idea right now."
"Great idea Ko!" she commented.
I could feel myself being lifted to the sky, but before Uraraka could lift herself or the others, she was taken out from behind. As Mirio went to attack Deku, I could feel myself falling, about to land behind him. That's when I saw Mirio and felt my self landing and something collapsing under me, only to be gone seconds later. My stomach ached and head hurt, but falling had hurt my back, so I laid helpless on the floor.
Mirio quickly took the remaining out and redressed.
"I tried to make it so you wouldn't see my willie. Sorry if you got a peek, but anyway, that's a taste of what it's like to fight me." the bright boy said. He reminded me a lot of Deku. They both felt like the warm sun.
He then went in to explain his quirk, which was actually pretty interesting.
Some of my classmates then expressed their excitement about work studies.
(Alright so between this there's a photographers episode, but I hate the one soooo much!!! I decided to leave it out and nothing too important happens anyway)
A few nights after our encounter with the big three, Kirishima and were invited to the third year's dorms to talk with Amajiki.
"S-sorry I-I don't usually d-drag people here, b-but the h-hero I do work studies with i-I-is interested in y-you two. His n-name is F-Fatgum." he stuttered.
"Yeah I've heard of him, but why us?"Kirishima asked.
"I'm n-not sure, but if either of y-you are interested, you c-can come w-with me t-to my work study tomorrow if you're interested." He continued.
After we left, Kirishima and I agreed that we'd be going with him tomorrow. Tomorrow could start a new chapter in our lives, and there was no way we were missing out on that.
