Your POV

So it turns out that nearly dying earns a lot of attention. I was doing my best to get to school with the 12 bouquets of flowers and an injury. As I walked onto the train, more people started recognizing me.

'This is hell'

It turns out that someone yapped about how I almost died, so now people think that I'm oh so fragil, but they will still run me over with words. As I walk towards the school gates, I'm immediately taken down by a reporter. They didn't even bother asking, they just tackled me.

I saw Bakugo walking towards the gate and I sent him the "Please help me" look. He just smirked and continued walking.

'He was no pity for the weak ;—;'

None of the reporters even talked to him, the winner of the sports festival! They cared more about my little slip up than the winner. There were tons of news articles about the event, but on most, I was front page. When my dad found out, he said that we was disappointed I didn't die.

I eventually got up, doing my best to shake off the last reporter. As I walk into the classroom, many heads turned. I forgot they hadn't seen me since I was taken off the floor after the match. Once waking up, I heard that Presnt Mic accidentally let in slip that I was on the verge of death, what a blabbermouth.

"Are you alright?" Yoayorozu questioned

"What happened!?" Kaminari asked

"That was the scariest thing in my life." Mineta spoke.

"Wait, it didn't even happen to you Mineta. I'm alright, but as for what happened, it's a long story." I replied while trying to get to my seat among the cluster. Luckily, Mr. Aizawa came to the rescue.

He said that we'd be doing something that sounded really difficult, but just turned out to be hero names.

'THIS IS EVEN WORSE!'

Before that though, he showed a board. I still was busy try to think about the hero names, so just continued to look down at my notebook and doodle some. I had no idea what to choose. Midnight then came into judge the names. Soon everyone started jotting down their ideas. Meanwhile, I sat there motionless. I could just put my name, but c'mon, that's boring. I had no idea what to choose. As the number of us left to present decreased, so did my ideas. It was now Deku's turn.

As he flipped his board, I could see the name I had called him for so many years etched in. A part of me was smiling. He had finally learned what I had been trying to teach him all this time. Certain students had different reactions, most were concerned, but a special blonde was furious.

It was my turn, I was the last one left. I slowly turned the board for others to see. Most of them looked puzzled, waiting for me to explain, but I didn't give them the satisfaction until Midnight spoke.

"Hm, why would you choose this word?" she asked. Her raven hair fell as her head tilted in confusion.

"Ambivalent: Having mixed feelings or contradicting ideas about someone or something, also the name of my quirk. It might not stick forever, but until then, I hope this can be an adequate name." I answered as I headed back for my seat. I swear in the corner of my eye,I could see Deku raiding his backpack for something.

Mr. Aizawa got up from his nap a little later while we were still talking out hero names. Apparently, my telling of my "secrets" caused Deku to go into full nerd mode, as he tried prying any more information from me.

It was never really a good day, but between all the attention outside of school and now inside, my day was even worse.

"Take your seats." Mr. Aizawa commanded. This made Deku go back to his seat along with a few other students.

'Mr.Aizawa always saves me. I should get him some coffee or something'

I continued to ponder as class went on. I've never really paid attention during lessons, but I still managed to get an A. While debating whether dogs or cats were better, Uraraka cut in with some question, I didn't hear everything she said though.

"Huh?"

"What agency are you going to go with?" she asked.

"Yeesssss, agencies...."

'Maybe I should have paid a little more attention'

She pointed at the screen that showed offers. I looked at the bottom of the list to see if I even got one, but to my surprise, Mineta noted," 25 offers isn't bad for someone who almost died."

'Did I hear him right?'

I looked up on the list a little, and there sat my name. The words, "25 offers." next to it. They must have lowered their standards or something.

I was then handed a list with all my options.

"Turn in your choices before the weekend." Mr. Aizawa said while walking out of the classroom.

'Great, only two days.'

I could hear the complaints from my classmates.

I scanned through the list, and a few agencies caught my eye.

Gun head's

Mr.Brave's

Never mind, that was it. Still, pretty impressive if I do say so myself.

I decided to just choose between them since they were the best options on my list.

In the end, I couldn't choose.

I've been pretty independent my whole life, so I was a little annoyed.I was stuck though. I'd have to ask for advice from someone. I looked at my classmates to see which seemed the least busy. When I saw that Iida was seemed to be done with his selecting, I walked over to him.

Yes, he may be annoying, but you can't deny that he is a genius.

"Hey Iida, I'd like to have your view on something, if that's alright?"

He didn't face me. He didn't say anything at all. He just continued to stare at his piece of paper.

"Iida?" I asked

'Still no response....'

Now, I had heard about his brother. That's one of the exact reasons I wanted to become a hero, to stop others from harm. I guess I couldn't graduate soon enough to save him though. (Wow, the way I word this, he sounds dead.)

I decided to just to let him be. That's a lot to go through, he'll need time to recover. Soooo, I went to my next best option. Bakugo.

"Bakugo." I said, walking to his seat.

"What do you want you Ko bitch?"he asked as I leaned over his shoulder to see what he chose.

'Why do I get the lame nickname, it's basically just my name and then bitch?'

"Best Jeanist is cool." I commented.

"SHUT IT, NOW WHAT DO YOU WANT?" he exploded.

"Well I was going to ask your opinion on which agency I should choose."

He then proceeded to tell me that no matter the agency I chose, I would fail.

'He's probably right'

After two failed attempts of advice, I decided to give up on trying to see what other people thought. Instead, I just got a coin.

'Ok, heads is Mr.Brave and tails is Gunhead.'

I watched as the coin turned in the air, possibly deciding my future as a hero.

I looked over to see which side would land as the metal clicked onto the desk.

Heads stood there, the eyes piercing through mine.

'Well I guess that decides it. In 5 days, I will be interning under Mr. Brave to help me become the best hero I can possibly be.'
