CAMILLE FRANCIS stood on the trains platform patiently waiting for the train to arrive. She rapidly tapped her foot on the ground below her glancing around at the faces that surrounded her. She spotted some familiars, but no one she was friendly with.

A few feet away from her stood a family of four. Two young boys with dark messy hair being scolded by their very angry looking mother. Camille paid no attention to them and looked the other way where she spotted a boy with mousy brown hair who leaned against a pillar in the station. He glanced over to the two dark haired boys ever so often, looking anxious.

The brown haired boy caught Camilles glance and gave her a friendly nod, then motioned for her to come over to him. She complied and walked his way. She smiled as she leaned against the same pillar he did.

"How's it going, Camille?" the boy asked her, leaning his head back on the pillar.

"It's going, and you, Remus?" she replied.

"Same here." he said. Remus looked back over at the family. The older of the two boys looked sad and uninterested in whatever his mother was yelling on about. He looked over at Remus giving him a friendly smile. He then met Camille's eyes and his mouth formed into a scowl which Camille reciprocated. Remus took notice to this interaction.

"You and Sirius still hate each other, huh?" Remus asked.

"It's all his fault. He thinks that every Slytherin believes in that pure-blood hierarchy shit, just because of his family." Camille ranted. Remus chuckled and shook his head. Camille turned to him and rose her eyebrows.

"Think thats funny, Lupin?" she smiled. Remus turned back towards her and shook his head. Soon enough two more boys ran towards Remus and Camille. One with dark hair sticking up in every place possible and another heavier boy with light brown hair.

"Hey, Pete, James!" Remus greeted his friends.

"Hello, Lupin." James greeted then turning to Camille, "and hello to you, lovely lady."

Camille chuckled and rolled her eyes.

"I think you got me mixed up with Evans there, Potter." she smirked. James scoffed and brushed her off.

"Where's Sirius?" Peter asked.

"Well, hello to you to, Peter." Camille joked. Peter frowned and looked at her.

"Sorry, hi, Camille, Remus." Peter apologized.

"It's all fine, Pete." Remus patted Peter on the back. James spotted Sirius over by his family and frowned.

"Poor, Sirius." James said noticing how upset Sirius looked.

"You'd think by now he'd run away from that terrible home of his." Camille snorted, rolling her eyes.

"It's not that easy, you know? With a family like that." James said. Camille crossed her arms leaning further into the pillar.

"God, I swear if I have to sit with Severus, I'm going to lose my mind." Camille complained, trying to changed the subject.

"Thankful that I'm not a Slytherin." Remus joked. Camille elbowed him in the side causing him to jump and shriek. The four friends laughed. Suddenly, the huff and puff of an engine was heard and the Hogwarts Express appeared onto the tracks.

Sirius' mother finished up her scolding as she sent her two sons away on the train, patting their backs as they went off. Remus, Camille, Peter, and James all stepped into the train.

"You know, Francis, you're always welcome to sit with us." James invited. Camille shook her head.

"No, it's fine. Plus, I'm sure Sirius would complain the whole time, and I don't feel like punching someone today." Camille said.

"See you at Hogwarts then, lovely lady." James winked. Camille chuckled and walked past a few compartments in the train, until she found an empty one. She put her trunk in the empty shelf above her seat then sat herself down. She leaned against the window looking out onto the platform, seeing the last of parents sending off their children, hugging and crying.

Camille always wondered what it would be like to be sent off by her own family. The only family she had left was her Aunt Marie, who was a muggle. Camille herself was a half-blood, muggle father and a magic mother. Her parents died in some sort of magic accident when Camille was around the age of three. Ever since then, she lived with her father's sister. Her aunt knew what she had signed up for once she agreed to become the legal guardian of Camille. Marie was reluctant to send Camille off to Hogwarts, but nevertheless she did. So, Camille enjoyed four years at Hogwarts, now onto her fifth.

Camille slouched down into her seat as the train headed off. She leaned back into her chair and closed her eyes, hoping to drift off to sleep to make it through the boring and lonely train ride.
