LATE IN THE EVENING, Camille was awoken by a tapping of a tree on her window sill. She rolled her eyes in annoyance, she really needed a good nights sleep before dealing with Sirius tomorrow. Her dorm mates were still fast asleep, heavily breathing and quietly snoring. She sat up and got off her bed. She put her feet in some slippers and put on a robe from her closet.
She had decided to go for a little walk around the school. When Camille couldn't sleep in her first year, she would take walks around the school to try and tire herself. After she had made a few friends first year, her nervousness went down and she was able to sleep much better.
But, something didn't feel right to her between Remus, James, Peter, and Sirius. They've always been acting strange somedays for the past few years, but she just always thought it was the Marauders being the Marauders. But, lately she thought that maybe something was up.
Camille peered down the halls, making sure there was no one in sight. Once she thought it was clear she started to walk carefully down the corridor. Hogwarts was beautiful at night. Lily Evans had asked Mcgonagall to put up fairy lights into some of the halls. Mcgonagall had used her talent in magic to make the halls look beautiful, even Dumbledore had said they were a great addition.
"Hush it, Wormtail!" a voice exclaimed from a few feet behind her. Camille panicked and hid behind the closest wall she could find.
"It's not my fault you keep stepping on my foot, James." Peter whisper-yelled.
"Both of you shut it, or we get caught and there's no helping Remus tonight." Sirius said.
Wormtail, James, Sirius. What were they doing? Camille knew something was up. She tried to peek around the corner to see the boys but she saw no one.
Should I follow them? she asked herself. She turned back around, continuing to hide. When she turned around there were three boys standing in front of her. She was going to scream, before one put his hand over her mouth.
"S' just us, Camille, don't scream." James said. She nodded her head and James took his hand off her mouth.
"What do you think you're doing?" Sirius scowled. Camille held herself together, not wanting to get into a fight with him right now.
"I should be asking you guys the same thing, and where's Remus?" Camille asked. The boys glanced at each other. Camille scoffed.
"No, of course you won't tell me. You know, I'll go find him myself. I heard you all talking about heading to the Shrieking Shack a few days ago, I'll start there." Camille said matter of factly.
