Celaena POV
Celaena had woken up today because of a nightmare. A room with blood splattered everywhere, a body laying on the bed. Nehemia, with a pool of blood under her. She had woken up covered in sweat and she immediately went to take a bath, she couldn't stand the fact that she was dead, Nehemia was dead. She had made a promise to free Eyllwe but she didn't know how she could possibly do that here, she had to find a way to get back to Erilea.
Celaena went to the dining room, she had guessed that the kitchen would be close to it and she was hungry. She was also right, because the kitchen was through a door in the dining room. The kitchen was very big and she didn't know how to cook so she had to find something that she could just eat. She ended up with a few slices of bread with butter and cheese. She sat down in one of the chairs in the dining room and when she was almost done Mor came in, and she was absolutely beautiful, Celaena had no idea how she managed to do that so early in the morning. "Hi!" Mor chirped, with a bright smile on her face, she had sat down on the chair opposite to Celaena. "So, I wondered if you wanted me to give you a tour of the city?" Mor asked her and Celaena thought it was a good idea, this way she could find a way out if she needed it. "Yeah, sure." Mor's face lit up even more. "On the way we can shop some clothes. I for one need new shoes." Mor said, she was so excited and Celaena was glad that there was someone here that also loved shopping, and Celaena did need to buy some books, she was almost done with the one she had started reading and well she loved book stores, she also wanted to buy a few dresses, but she didn't have any money with her that would be enough for it. "And, since you probably don't have any money that would be legal here, I'll pay for everything, I'm rich after all and it's just until you get some money for yourself." Celaena wasn't sure if she should accept but she didn't have any money and she just had to restrain herself a little, instead of buying as much as she normally would, she just nodded her head and when she was done eating she went to her room and started getting ready. Today she decided that she would wear one of the dark coloured dresses, it seemed to be the team here, only Elain didn't wear them.
When she was finally done she waited for Mor to come get her, Celaena thought that her and Mor could be good friends and she hoped they would be, because she liked Mor, and it seemed like Mor used even more time getting ready than what Celaena did and that was saying something. Celaena had gone for a black, glittering dress that went completely down to the floor, it showed some of her cleavage but not that much, she had worn more scandalous dresses, but because it was a little chilly outside and because she didn't want the others to see her scars she had also put on a beautiful jacket, it was also black but it had gold embroidery on it, the same gold as the ring around her eyes. She didn't want their pity, though she knew they had all been through something as well, because they all had scars and Azriel who she felt drawn to had the worst of them, his hands were covered in scars, she wondered how he'd got them and she had a suspicion it had something to do with his brothers , but she wasn't about to ask, she knew that it could be a sensitive topic and Celaena herself didn't want to be questioned about her scars.
