Chapter 11

Lily POV~
"Hello?" Pony asked opening the door.  He looked tired, like he hasn't slept in a few days. Gosh, was he worrying about me?  He was so tired he didn't recognize it was me.

I held onto his face. "Pony, have you been missing sleep? Are you ok?"

His face lit up when he noticed it was me.  He picked me up and hugged me as tight as he could. "Lily you came back?" He said with tears.

"I kinda promised you that." He hugged me tighter when I said that. "Oh my g-Pony oh gosh! I'm not that important to you am I?"

He held me less tighter and whispered in my ear "You're more then important to me.  Your my everything.  I feel lost without you Lily.  These past few nights have been so hard since I knew you weren't there.  Please promise never to leave me."

I was the one crying and holding him with a tight grip.  "Oh Ponyboy! I am so sorry! I'll never forgive myself for leaving! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please forgive me!"

He put me down and held my face close to his. "Promise me you'll forgive yourself first."

I laugh and wipe a few tears. "Alright.  I forgive myself."

He pulled me in for a kiss.  I love this boy so much!

Once we pulled each other apart he brought me inside.

"Guys look who's back!" Pony said.

When they all turned their heads, Soda was the first one to run up to me and give me a hug.

"Hey! It's nice to have you back!" He said.

"Yep, I'm happy too." I said.

"How did you do it?" He asks. "How did you get them to bring you back?"

~Flashback to a conversation between Selena's mom and Lily from Lily's POV~
I was sitting on the couch with some baggages waiting for Selena and her mom to drop me off at the plane station.  It was 5am so I was real tired.

"Hey," I heard Selena's mom said. "Selena is getting ready right now."

"Alright." I said.

"Are you ok?" She asks sitting beside me.

"Well, I have no where to stay when I get there." I frowned. "I don't wanna be adopted by the Curtis boys.  I'm dating one!"

"Well, you could just move in with the oldest permission." She said.

"Really?" I looked at her more clearly. 

"Yeah.  You don't need to be adopted." She laughed. "Like how I let you stay here because you had my permission."

"But why did-"

"The judges don't know anything." She smiled.

~End of flashback~
"And that's the story on our conversation." I explained. "But the teachers and the judges helped but my parents in jail and the teachers got me plane tickets to Tulsa."

"You need Darry's permission to stay here?" Pony asks me.

"Well, he is the oldest so.. yeah."

Soda and Pony turn to Darry. "Can she stay."

He smiled. "Of course she can sta-"

"OH THANK YOU DARRY!" I run and hug him.

He hugs me back. "Glad to have you back Lily."

Narrator~
Lily goes to Will Rogers High with Pony, when they graduated from University, they were about 21 years old.  At the age of 26, Pony decided to propose to Lily and of course she said yes.  She was still close to Selena and saw her at the wedding.  And that is the story about Lily Hart and Ponyboy Curtis.
