Chapter 9 Plan Failed?

Y/N and Mikasa hit the wall of the house.

"Sorry." Y/N apologized after accidentally wounding Mikasa's cheek with his blade.

"It's alright. Thank you." Mikasa thanked Y/N

Eren looked at both Y/N and Mikasa before he raises his fist.

"Ackerman! Zeppeli!" Ian shouted

Eren tries to punch Y/N and Mikasa, but they both jump away. Mikasa uses her ODM Gear and she hooks it to Eren's face.

"Hey, Mikasa!" Y/N called

"Hey! That's enough! Get away from him!" Ian shouted

"Eren, don't you recognize me?! It's me, Mikasa! Your family! You have to seal the hole with that boulder!" Mikasa shouted

"Tch! The mission failed." Y/N said

"Yeah. The plan failed." Rico said taking out a flare gun ammo and she fires it.

"Eren, you're human!" Mikasa said

Ian noticed Eren moving his fist.

"Dodge, Ackerman!" Ian shouted

Mikasa jumps off Eren and Eren punches his face causing to knock himself to knock his Titan out.

"Hahaha! What an idiot!" Y/N laughed

"Zeppeli, take this seriously." Rico said

"Ah, sorry, sorry." Y/N said

"Eren!" Mikasa shouted

"Captain Ian!" Someone shouted

Ian looked to his side and saw a soldier

"Two approaching from the right! A 10-meter class and a 6-meter class!" The soldier informed them

"Another at the rear! A 12-meter Titan heading this way!" Another soldier shouted

"Ian, we're retreating! Sealing the gate is least of his worries." Mitabi said

"Yeah. We have no choice, but to abandon him." Rico said

"A-Abandon Eren?!" Y/N asked

Mikasa looked at Rico angrily.

"Hey, what're you waiting for?! Give us the order! Ian, it's not your fault. It was a faulty plan to begin with. We all know that! It was certainly worth a shot, bt we've given it that already. Listen, we're going to climb back up the wall!" Mitabi said and he walked away

Mikasa heard this and she ran to Mitabi with her blades out. Y/N grabbed Mikasa's wrist and Ian raises his arm blocking Mikasa's way to getting near Mitabi.

"Wait. Calm down, Ackerman. Rico's squad has the 12-meter class at the rear. Mitabi's squad and mine will take the two at the front." Ian said

"What?!" Rico said in surprise

"I'm the one appointed as leader. Shut up and obey. We can't leave Jaeger unprotected like that. We'll modify the plan. Until we recover Jaeger, we'll protect him from the Titans. He holds a valuable potential for mankind. We can't give up that easily. Unlike us, there's no replacement for him, after all." Ian said

"Heh. I could easily replace him if I wanted to help you devils." Y/N thought

"So, you're telling me, you want to carry on like this, despite losing hundreds of soldiers, all of that failure of a human weapon?!" Rico asked

"That's right! No matter what the cost, we must continue!" Ian said and both Mitabi and Rico ahd shocked expressions on their faces.

"Ian, are you serious?!" Rico asked
