Chapter 29.5 Assassin's Bullet

Everyone in the room where Y/N, Eren, and Zeke were restrained heard a gunshot. They payed it no mind since they were still in the battlefield.

After a few moments, the door opened and Jean entered with Gabi and Falco.

Gabi and Falco's eyes widen seeing Y/N and Zeke.

"Gabi, Falco... Why are you here?" Zeke asked

"What do you mean?" Falco asked

"You're both alive! Even you, Mr. Y/N! I saw you get eaten! But I can't believe they captured you both!" Gabi said

"Where'd this kids come from?" Levi asked

"They killed Lobov and got on aboard with his maneuver gear. And this girl shot Misha. She isn't gonna make it." Jean explained and their eyes widen

Mikasa and Armin ran outside the room

"You take it from here, Onyankopon." Hange said coming out of the control room

"So, did it all go according to the plan, Zeke Jaeger, Y/N Tybur?" Hange asked

"Yeah... but there were some faults." Y/N said

"Mr. Y/N...?" Gabi looked at Y/N confused

"Huh? Who are these kids?" Hange asked

"The faults." Y/N said

"Yelena! You were supposed to restrain the Jaw and the Cart! Some of us died because of you!" Jean shouted angrily

"I'm sorry. I did drop them in hole I prepared, but something went wrong." Yelena apologized

"Thanks to that, the Beast ended up throwing more rocks at us than he was supposed to. Even for a clown like you, that was one hell of an improv act. Wouldn't you say, beardo?" Levi asked

"Don't look at me like that, Levi. What're you gonna do if I piss myself? You're quite the actor yourself. Considering how badly you want to kill me." Zeke said,

"I'm the kind of guy that saves his favorite part of the meal for last. I really wanna savor the taste." Levi said

"We killed leaders of the Marleyan Army and destroyed their main fleet and their military port. That should've bought us time some time." Eren said

"Time until the world launches an all-out attack on Paradis Island? Everytime you get captured by the enemy, we put our lives on the line to get you back. No matter how many of us die in the process. You took advantage of that fact and made yourself a hostage so you could force us to make this attack. And we didn't have a choice in the matter, just like you wanted. You trusted us to do this, but we've lost our trust in you." Hange said

"But we now have the Founding Titan and a Titan with Royal Blood. All these noble sacrifices will bring freedom to Eldia. They were not in vain." Zeke said

The door opened revealing Connie with tears in his eyes.

"Misha... is dead." Connie said

"Eren... Misha died because you dragged the Survey Corps into this." Jean said
