I groan as I open my eyes, only for the sun to be directly in them. I shut the curtains of the window behind the couch and sit up. I don't feel sick, only tired. I didn't drink enough to be hung over, just enough to get a little drunk. I wasn't even terribly drunk, anyways. I look around and hear the sound of someone throwing up. Sean.

I stagger sleepily to his bathroom and rub his back as he throws up. "Someone had a little too much." I smirk as the words leave my mouth. He looks up at me. His eyes have dark bags under them, and he looks miserable. "Sorry." I apologize. "I'm gonna go see if Alex has any gatorade. Until I get back, drink water. Lots of it." I instruct him, then go to my own room to get ready.

I quickly dress in a pair of pajama jeans (fake skinny jeans made out of cotton and spandex that look like actual jeans) and throw on a fall out boy t-shirt with the sleeves cut off. I slip on black bobs and leave my house. I walk into Alex's house, and Alex is passed out on the table, pantless. I ignore him, and I walk through the house to find Mitch. I find him hugging the toilet, and he smirks as he sees me walk in.

"Wild night?" I ask, leaning against the doorframe.

"Fun night." He replies, smiling at me. "You know, me and you made out." He winks.

"No, I wasn't drunk enough to forget what happened. I know that we never made out." I shrug. Why would it matter anyways? It's not like it would've meant anything. "So why is Alex pantless?"

"He came home and started dancing on the table, and he began to strip but he passed out after he took off his pants." He laughs as he describes what happened.

"Oh, so you encouraged him?" I tease with a wink.

"I was laughing, but not encouraging. Apparently he's a professional stripper." He jokes. I can't help but laugh. Alex? A stripper? No way.

Why did I come over here again? Oh yeah, Gatorade. "I was going to ask you guys for gatorade, but you guys need it more than I do." I say. "I'm going to the store to get gatorade. Want anything?" I ask, turning to leave.

"Nope!" He answers, so I leave. I walk back to my house and grab my wallet and phone.

"Going to the store." I say loud enough, before leaving the house again. I walk to the store, which is only about a block away. I get to the store, buy what I need, and walk back to the house.

My eyes widen as I see whats happening. My house. In flames. I wasn't even gone for more than twenty minutes! I drop everything and run towards it, only for a fireman to stop me. He holds me back. "Sean!" I scream.

The man holds me back as I fight to go towards the flaming house. I give up fighting and just watch as the flames are extinguished. Not much damage to the house, but the entire guest bedroom is gone. All that's left of it is a frame. Ashes are blown by the wind. I look around, but I can't see Sean anywhere. Tears sting my eyes. Is he.. dead? I fall to the ground and begin sobbing. How?

It's not confirmed that he's dead, Ains. I remind myself. I look up, only to see the firemen pushing a stretcher out of the house. There's a white sheet over the person inside. He is. He's dead. I feel my whole world crumble.

"Ma'am." A man says, kneeling beside me. "The man who was inside of the house is critically injured." He informs me, putting a hand on my shoulder. "He's not guaranteed to survive. It's a hit and miss."

He's not dead. Yet. I watch as they clear the scene and take Sean to the hospital.

"What the hell?" I hear Liam from behind me. I turn around and shake my head. "Ainsley, what happened?"

"I don't know." I whisper, and he pulls me into a hug. "I went to the store, and he must've done something that set a fire. He might die." I croak.

But yet, I don't feel as bad as I should. Maybe because it hasn't hit me yet. Maybe I just don't care. But I should care, he's my love, right?
