My Cute Monster (Garou X Reader)

Chapter 2

(Y/n) and Garou talked for a while till the rain stopped. Garou and (Y/n) looked out the entrance to the cave. "Come on... I'm assuming you don't have a place to stay. You can stay with me for the time being! And you are sick and injured. I can't stand by and not help you" (Y/n) said smiling at him. 

"... Alright. But once I'm better I'm leaving," He said. 

"Sure" (Y/n) giggled. "I'll see you two later~ Promise" (Y/n) kneeled down and pet the cubs and walked off with Garou. Luckily (Y/n) lived in an abandoned area in City-Z, so Garou didn't have to worry about being spotted. 

Once he walked into the apartment he looked around. It was a small cute place she lived in. It was the perfect size for her. He looked down at the much shorter girl as she took off her shoes and walked in. She walked to the bathroom as Garou walked in the livingroom. She walked out with an aid kit. 

"Oh... Let me do it" Garou said. 

"No, I will. You need your rest. You are running a fever" (Y/n) said. 

"How do you even know I'm running a fever?" Garou said as he sat on the couch and allowed (Y/n) to bandage him. 

"Your face is red... And I just know" (Y/n) said as her face got close to his bare chest so she could get the bandage around his waist. His face grew hotter as he looked down at the girl. She was so beautiful, he wasn't even sure if she was real. 

"So... Why are you even helping me.. You don't know me. I might be dangerous. I might have been hurt for a good reason" Garou mumbled. 

"Because not only world my older brother be mad at me since he is a hero... But I also would be upset with myself knowing I could have done something to help you" (Y/n) said. 

"Your brother is a hero?" Garou said. This caught his attention. 

"Yeah... His name is Kaito (L/n)... But his hero name is Iron Fist" (Y/n) mumbled. "I'm not really sure what his rank is... But him and I don't get along very well because he is a hero.. He thinks he is better than me... And he wants me to become a hero too... but I don't want to be a hero... I'm not a very good fighter, let alone someone that can actually become a hero... I bet her only wants me to become a hero to show me just how much stronger he is than me... All done" (Y/n) pulled away from him and stood up putting everyone away. 

"I'm glad you didn't become a hero" Garou mumbled to himself. (Y/n) looked at him. He didn't think she would hear him but she defiantly did. "How does he think you would become a hero anyway? You said you don't fight... It's as if your brother is trying to get you killed"

"... I... Don't want to talk about that" (Y/n) mumbled looking away. 

"Trust me... It couldn't get any worse than me" Garou said. (Y/n) looked at him. 

"... Are you hungry? I'll make some soup! Lay down... I'll go get-" (Y/n) stopped talking when she heard screaming. She looked out the window. She knew Garou didn't hear it. But the beast was coming (Y/n)'s way. 

"... What is it?" Garou asked. She then heard two gunshots coming from the forest. She jumped at the sudden noise. 

"A monster is coming this way... Or at least someone huge" (Y/n) mumbled. "... I'm sorry, I have to go!" And without a word (Y/n) ran out the door as fast as she could. She didn't even bother putting her shoes on. 

This peaked Garou's interest. What was so important that she ran out of the house without her shoes? So, he decided to follow her. (Y/n) ran through the forest they were in and into the cave. Garou followed. And when he walked up behind (Y/n), he saw her on her knees crying. He looked to see what she was crying about. The cubs were... Dead. A bullet right through the head. 

"Airashi~... Kawaii~" (Y/n) cried. The ground started to shake, catching Garou's attention. But (Y/n) ignored it. She knew Garou was there too, but she didn't care. Her babies were dead. 

"Hey, (Y/n)" Garou said. "We should leave"

(Y/n) ignored him. The footsteps only got closer. Garou knew she wasn't going to move. He picked her up and ran out and the cave was crushed. "There she is... She is the one that can hear everything" Said a bird monster that looked like a phoenix. It was at least 20 feet tall. 

"A titan?" Garou said. 

"And that's Garou. We need them both" The phoenix said again

"(Y/n), I need you to stand a run. I can hold them off" Garou said. But before she could talk than were both grabbed. Garou wasn't able to do anything. He was trapped with one hand. 

"... Are you sure about this girl? She doesn't look like she can do much," The titan said. His voice was loud. Very loud. 

"Yes," the phoenix said. 

"(Y/n), you are going to need to stop crying. If you haven't noticed, we are being taken my monsters" Garou said. 

(Y/n) looked at Garou as he continued to try and get the titan's hand to open. "I don't care" (Y/n) mumbled. "... If they want to kill then let them... I'm no one important anyway"

"Don't say things like that!" Garou said. "They are with the monster's association. I'm sure of it. I don;t know why they want you... But you must be hiding something from me that they know"

(Y/n) looked at him. "How did you even know the Cubs were in danger?" Garou said. Garou gave up on trying to escape. He knew he wouldn't be able to get out of the hand. he would just have to wait. 

He sat down next to (Y/n). "... I heard them" (Y/n) mumbled. "I heard gun shots"
