《3RD POV》
Laike jerked away from Darcey like she was infected with a deadly disease. "No! Absolutely not! My parents were my parents, I just didn't remember them as I was so young! Darcey, you're just looking at what I just told you, and twisting it so you can convince me of things that aren't true!" She cried, even though she knew the signs were practically laid out on front of her. "I think you need to calm down Laike, before something happens again"
Laike looked at her like she was mad, "You're saying that I caused the whole thing in the cafeteria?! That was some stupid plumbing malfunction that happened because the school couldn't be bothered to get a f*cking plumber!!" The pipes in the house were filling with water that hadn't been there before, the boiler being pushed to its limits, ready to explode.
Apollo rushed into the room, after Spirit had sensed something was up, Laike was messing up the water system, again. He spun her round to face him and brought her into his arms. The water level calmed down, all the excessive liquid had gone and only the required water was left. "What just happened?!" Axton came rushing in, in some sort of hyper panic mode. "Yeah, we really need to find your parents, asap"
《A P O L L O》
Laike had fallen asleep on the couch after her little performance with the plumbing earlier, and now all six of us were now looking through all our old books, searching for a clan who were missing a water kid. Coming up short was what exactly happened, we phoned all the nearby clans and found nothing, any powerful international clans, nada. "It's literally like she never existed!" Aurora collapsed back in her chair, completely fed up of this pointless searching.
"We have to find her clan 'Rory, we can't control her here, we have no experience with water kids, we have no idea what to do!" Complained Everest "We could ask the Elders, maybe they know?" I sighed and turned towards Spirit, "If they knew something, they would have told us, told me!" Everyone was tired and fed up of the pointless search for somebody who just didn't seem to exist. Darcey snapped her fingers in the air, wanting us to look at her. "What?!" She rolled her eyes at my bluntness.
"I think I've found it, Laike's original clan, they're missing three people, a flame, an air and a water. That could well be Laike's family, she said she was in an orphanage until she was twelve, so why haven't the clan tried looking for her?" That was definitely a question to think over, "Especially since the majority or their clan are spirit, they should have easily been able to track her" A horrible thought graced me, but it would explain why Laike's clan had not done anything to help find her. "Maybe her clan doesn't exist anymore, what if they were executed by the Elders? At the time that clan lost the three people, was the same time the past Elders had gone on a killing spree" Axton caught onto my thinking.
"And her clan were just the collateral damage"
