《A P O L L O》

"You know we'll be completely fine Darcey" Everest had continued to reassure her since we first arrived at the airport. She was stuck on the idea that we would miss our plane and Laike wouldnt be able to meet her Australian clan. Laike had been quiet the majority of our time here, Spirit on the other hand, was the complete opposite. She had been going on and on about how the airport looked so bland, Spirit loves colour, and the airport just seemed to be drained of the stuff. She said the airport reminded her of a hospital, too sterile and bland for her to spend too long in.

Rory has always been loud, and that will never, ever, change. She has always been good at singing, so every time we are in a silent space, she starts to sing. Completely off topic but it doesnt seem to be as irrelevant as you think as Aurora was quietly singing to herself with her earplugs in her ears. The aeroplane tickets had been booked so the order was Rory, Darcey, the two loudest girls, then two rows behind them were Everest, Spirit and Axton. Laike and I were unfortunate enough to be stuck in the middle between the roudy group that were the other Moonsilvers.

Despite Darcey's beliefs, we made it to the aeroplane and safely took off, with no casualties as far as I know

Despite Darcey's beliefs, we made it to the aeroplane and safely took off, with no casualties as far as I know. Laike was still huddled up in my hoodie, with her headphones firmly over her ears. According to Spirit, Laike loves country music, especially Luke Combs. Spirit just couldn't stay out of anybody's head for five minutes, could she? Spirit looked back to Laike and I's seats and passed over a blanket, I thanked her and draped it over Laike.

She was asleep, wrapped up in her dreams, hopefully she was not suffering through nightmares that I know she gets. She woke up one time, drenched in tears and sweat, screaming her lungs out because of a bad dream. I had woken up at the exact same moment, my appearance the same as her, drenched in sweat, crying, with an intense feeling of panic and deep sadness.

I had not had much to do on the flight, so I borrowed Laike's book that she'd been reading.

One, by Sarah Crossan

I turned the first page and could see Laike's piece of notebook paper she put in every novel, noting down her thoughts about the book. Her handwriting was neat, but when written quickly, it looked rushed, why do I find everything about Laike so...cute? Adorable? Something that I would cherish everyday? The girls I knew before Laike, were so different. I would describe them as, attractive, sexy, hot, but Laike isnt like them.

She's different, but in a good way, she doesn't wear revealing or extremely tight clothing, like I used to enjoy watching girls model for me. She wears sweaters and jeans, high top Van's with a beanie, which seems so plain, but when its Laike, she would look absolutely beautiful. She's just unique, my Laike.
