Rise's POV
Christmas. The season of pine trees, candy canes and my favourite, turkey dinner. We all sat around the fireplace Christmas Eve and just enjoyed each other's presence. Grayson would be over tomorrow night for dinner and I couldn't wait.
I picked Camille up and took her into the kitchen with me after grabbing a gift from under the tree.
"What are you doing daddy?" She asked, a little confused.
"I have a gift for you to open tonight. It's from your other daddy, daddy T." Her eyes go wide.
"But it's not Christmas yet! Daddy is so silly!" She giggles.
"He asked for you to open it tonight, only around me so here we are. Open it gorgeous." I hand her the bag and she rips it open, pulling out a pink unicorn onesie.
Tristan has asked me last week if I could get it for him and he gave me the money for it. I put the money in her piggy bank and bought her the onesie instead.
He had enough to worry about, I will give him money once he gets out, in about 4 years so he can have time to find a job.
I help Camille into the onesie and she giggles again as she runs to the living room to show it off to my dad.

Christmas morning could not have been more perfect. Everyone was happy, exchanging gifts and taking pictures. Grayson came over around 2:00 and Nate came in not long after. The morning was great, but the afternoon just got better.
We were sitting around the table, having pointless conversations, and of course eating turkey.
We were just finishing up when Grayson stood up.
"Everyone, I have an announcement!" All heads turned to him.
"Could Rise please stand?" I stand up and he comes over to me.
"Rise, when I met you for the first time, I saw an adorable little dork with a little problem of being bullied. Hanging out with you gave some backlash, but I know it was worth it. I have an amazing family and I couldn't be any happier. You are truly the love of my life and so-"
He knelt down and immediately my hands flew over my mouth as tears formed in my eyes.
"- will you, Rise Benjamin Cage, will you make me the happiest man alive, and marry me?"
"Oh my god yes!" He slips the ring on my finger and pulls me into a hug. I forgot we had an audience until I heard the clapping of everyone around us, causing me to blush.
We spent the rest of the day, playing board games and building gingerbread houses and I can now honestly say, this was a life worth living.
