Rise's POV
Grayson, Camille and I have been visiting Tristan almost every day. Today however, it was just me.

I walk into the familiar room and see Tristan sitting at the table already.

"You wanted to speak to me alone?" I ask and he nods.

"This weekend. The 19th is Camille's birthday. I want to see her again, but I want to spend some time alone with her...I know the deal was to have you present at all times but-"

"I'll give you an hour with her. But I'm asking her about it all after."

"Ok thank you."

Later that day, I was sitting in the living room when Grayson walked in the door with I hyper brunette running in behind him.

"Daddy!" She screams and runs over to me.

"Inside voice please." I say and she giggles as Riley comes downstairs groaning.

"What time is it?!" He asks, seeing the light outside.

"Good morning Mr. Vampire. It's currently 3:46pm." I say looking at my watch.

"Good morning uncle Riley!" Cammy says going to hug him.

"Good morning darlin'. What's got you so hyper?"

"Daddy took me for ice cream!" Riley looks at me as if I was crazy.

"Don't look at me, look at Grayson."

"Where's Aaron?" Riley asks and I think.

"Not sure, why?"

"He was supposed to bring Carson and I to the mall today..." He puts Camille down and goes back upstairs.

Just as he reached the top of the stairs, Carson walks in.

"I'm home!" He yells and I swear I saw Riley float back down the stairs at his voice.

"Hey Carson! I'm trying to find Aaron..."

"He came to pick me up, he was at work early this morning and picked me up before you. He's in the car, let's go." The two of them leave and I shut the door behind them.

"Alright, lets go bug the twins!" I say with a wide grin and Grayson and Cammy cheer.

We run into their room and see them still asleep. I point at Jake and Grayson takes Cammy over to him while I walk over to Gabe.

I give hand signals, counting down from three and the We all jump onto them.

"Gabe wakes up first, quickly tickling me for revenge, sending me into a fit of giggles.

Jake has the same reaction, though he took longer to wake up because he sleeps like a truck.

We all grouped up and burst into Carters room.

"WAKE UP YOU LAZY SON OF A-"

"I'm awake! I have been for hours. I couldn't sleep last night and I gave up at like 7. I've just been doodling." He says, looking up from his desk.

"Come here gorgeous." He says and Camille runs towards him and climbs into his lap.

"What are you drawing uncle Carter?" She asks, picking up the picture.

"It's just a person." He says shrugging. She turns the picture towards us and the twins smile.

"Not just anyone, Aaron." Gabe says and Jake laughs while Carter goes red.

"Well that's a surprise." I say laughing a bit.

"You can't tell him anything! He- well- he is still technically my foster brother and it can't happen."

"It most definitely can happen." Dad says from the door way.

"Aaron doesn't want to get adopted. He still calls me dad, but he doesn't want to replace his mom and dad. He's actually leaving for college soon so tell him as soon as possible. Maybe he likes you too." He winks at us before heading to the bathroom to shower.

Why is everyone sleeping in today?

I shrug it off and pick up Camille. "Alright, who wants to go watch the little mermaid?" I ask and Camille squeals a bit.

"Me! Me!" I chuckle softly and carry her down to the couch as Grayson went to make popcorn and get juice for Cammy.

About halfway through the movie, the other two are asleep and I'm just about to fall asleep as well when Aaron, Carson and Riley walk in laughing loudly.

"Shhh..." Carson says, I squint my eyes a little to see he's pointing at us.

"They're asleep." I groan a bit, hoping they would think they're waking me up and leave me the fuck alone.

Carson turns off the tv while Riley grabs a large blanket to wrap around us.

"Thank you." I mumble.

"Remind me tomorrow that we need to prepare for a certain girls day of birth." I say and Carson laughs a bit.

"Of course." He says before I fall into a deep dreamless sleep.
