Rain is that splash of water that Heavens pour down either to bring out the sweetness of your love or the painful sorrows. Shana was also drenched in that same rain but there wasn't anything she could feel.

The rain helped her hide her tears but also made her slowly numb. So numb to make her feel nothing.

She ran into her tower, top to toe drenched in rain, her hair messed up, kohl smudged under her eyes. She looked like she lost an unknown happiness. As if something which she never wished to face came across her.

She entered her room running, as if didn't wish to answer anyone or face anyone. She tripped over and fell down but didn't try to get up. She was shivering, shivering 'cause she was cold, shivering 'cause she was in pain, shivering 'cause her belief broke into pieces.

Then she could hear footsteps. But she knew it wasn't Ali. She lifted her head a bit and someone threw her ghungru infront of her. The bells came ringing towards her.

While looking at those ghungru which she treasured more than anything, she could only feel hatred. Tears dripped from her sore eyes and fell right on her ghungru.

'This is your existence.'

The voice rang in the whole room. The bitter but truth speaking voice of Shehnuba.

Shana looked at her with eyes full of regret.

'Yes I know!! And you are also to be blamed for that!' Shana shouted at the top of her shaking voice.

'Oh.. and can you explain further?' Shehnuba stood there firmly with her expressionless face.

'You brought me here... to a place where I've no self respect...'

'Yes I did. But for your family. Did I ever tell you to go and get along with shehzade? Or did I tell you to trust him blindly?'

Shana remained silent realising her mistakes.

Shehnuba continued,'I brought you here for your family's sake, to do a job and earn a decent living!'

Shana took the ghungru in her hands and looked at it. She realised what she was there for.

'Now tie it up Shana and start dancing.'

Shana was looking at her in confusion but then Shehnuba repeated herself loudly.

'I SAID START DANCING!!'

Shana got startled but immediately did what her aunt demanded to.

She danced and danced till the ringing sound from her ghungru reached the heaven but still Shehnuba didn't let her stop. Whenever she slowed down Shehnuba raised her raging voice and didn't let her stop.

She danced till her soft feet bleed and she fell down unconscious. Shehnuba hurriedly went towards her and hugged her in her arms.

'My dear Shana.. you don't know how much dirty this place is... so never ever get involved with them' She said while caressing her face.

Shana opened her eyes faintly and Shehnuba continued

'I love you just like your ammi dear. So, you need to know about your existence... after all it's better like this'

Shana looked into Shehnuba's eyes and nodded. Maybe her legs were weak then but her will wasn't.

A new storm and a new distance was already set between Ali and Shana.
