Hey guys just a quick note before I start writing. Sorry I took so long to update, especially if you follow me on instagram its been at least two weeks, I've been nonstop busy with school and work. Hopefully now I will be able to update, I;m trying to get something up at least once a week since Sundays are my free days. And since I don't have school, I figured I would try and update. I hope you like it. I'm trying for a thousand or more words this chapter. I lot is going to happen.
Justin's Point of view
I got up this morning, checked on Jaycee and went to the kitchen to make coffee for everyone. Alanna, Jaycee, and I are going to the hospital this afternoon to get our test results. And I really hope Alanna and I are donors.
Couple hours later
We got to the hospital and checked in and sat in the waiting room.
10 minutes later
We got called back to Dr. Brone's office and took a seat. And Jaycee sat on my lap.
"Justin, Alanna how are you guys?" she asked.
"Could be better." Alanna said signing and I nodded.
"Well I got good news, and bad news. You guys can choose what you want first."
Alanna looked at me and said "I say we get the bad news first, so we can get the heartbreak befoe the good news." I nodded agreeing with her, while Jaycee turned around and put her arms around my neck and put her face in the crook of my neck.
"I don't know how to say this, but neither of you are donors." Dr Brone sighed.
"Your kidding right?" Alanna said.
"No I'm not. Your and Justin and both AB blood. Jaycee, is the rarest type, and it's O negative."
"But we're her parents, don't we have to be?"
"Not necessarilly, but there is someone that i treated before that had O- and I remember who."
"Who is it Dr."
"Alanna, it was your mom." She said and both Alanna and I looked at each other in shock.
"Then, whats the good news?" I asked.
"I did, some research, and a young boy died in a car accident over night, and he is the same blood type and everything as Jaycee, I know it seems bad but, he lives in Califronia and a doctor thats a good friend of mine called me and talked to his paarents about your situtation, and they are willing to have him be Jaycee's life savor. They want to do the operation, and we can have everything we need in two days."
Hearing that Jaycee is going to have this operation, has been the greatest news I have ever heard, she is going to be okay! I owe this family my life for saving my little girl.
Alanna's point of view
2 days later the day of the operation
Todays is the day Jaycee is having her bonemarrow transplant. Justin and I were the only ones going to the hospital before the operation. While everyone else is going to be coming later on after she wakes up and gets settled. Luckily, we didn't have to fight with her this morning to get up. We just let her have her way and stay in her pajamas.
Once we got to the hospital we got her checked in and the nurse did all the basic stuff by taking her weight, blood pressure and checking her heartbeat, and Justin and I were able to stay through all of it. And doctor Borne is letting us stay in the room while they take Jaycee into the operation area.
