Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

Justin's Point of View

Alanna walked Jaycee to the pool area and, now is my chance to talk to Alanna about Jaycee being my daughter.

"Hey Alanna, can we talk?" I asked as she froze up. "Alone?" I asked and nodded my head to the door that leads to a outside patio.

"Uh yeah sure." She said.

"Ry can you keep an eye on Jaycee?" I asked.

"Sure." Ryan said laughing as Jaycee screamed jumping Into the pool with Ryan catching her.

I led Alanna outside and turned around to look at her. "Is there anything you would like to tell me?" I asked.

"No." She shrugged her shoulders and looked the other way. I know her more than I know myself and when she can't look someone in they eyes she's lying.

"Your lying.."

"No I'm not Justin. Never nothing I have to tell you!" She said still not making eye contact with me.

"Alanna I know you better than anyone and you can't even look at me right now, your lying."

"Your right." She sighed and looked up at me. "I need to tell you something but I don't know how your going to handle it."

"What is it?"

"Your going to get mad at me but, I have to tell you. Jaycee's your daughter." She looked down with tears in her eyes.

I froze. I'm a father. Can this be happening right now? I know Ryan told me Jaycee looks like a little me but in a girl version but, I didn't want to believe it. But, now there is no going back. I sighed. "Why didn't you tell me? I don't know maybe when you found out you were pregnant with her?" I asked getting mad. Even though I didn't know I was a father I was mad she kept it from me.

"Justin, it was 3 years ago. You were just starting your career. I wasn't going to take that away from you. It was your dream. But please don't take it out on Jaycee. She needs a father in her life. She asks me all the time where her daddy is or how come she doesn't have one or if you love her or not. I always had to make up some kind of lie to her which hurt me so much." She said while sobbing. "I'm sorry Justin."

"Well I'm not to mad, but finding out that I have a 3 almost 4 year old daughter is a shocker but, the thing is, I don't know how my mom, dad, and Selena will take it. I know my mom will be upset and my dad more disappointed, and Selena god know what would happen."

"Wow Justin nice to know you out your daughter first before your girlfriend." She said and walked back inside.

Alanna's point of view

"Jaycee be careful sweetie." I said as I saw her running around the pool while Ryan was trying to grab her.

"I know momma!" She said laughing.

"GOTCHA!" Ryan said as he grabbed her and brought her into the pool as she screamed.

"Ryan!" She said giggling.

Later that day

Justin came back to the lobby with Jaycee on wrapped up in towel almost falling asleep on with her head on his shoulder.

"Hey." He said quietly.

"Hey. How was she?" I asked.

"She was good, a little ball of energy. She reminds me of me when I was younger." He said smiling.

"She's exactly a mini you. But here I'll take her." I said.

"No. I got her. Do you mind if I take her up and we can talk?"

"Sure that's fine. I want to show you a few things anyways." I smiled.

I shut everything down and lead him to our room.

When we got there I should him Jaycee's room, and I unmade her bed and he sat her down. While I got her pjs and changed her. After we got her all situated I kissed her forehead and told her I love her and Justin did the same even if she still doesn't know Justin is her daddy. I lead him out of her room and to my room and sat on my bed.

"So what is it you wanted to show me?" He asked.

"Well when I was younger I said when I have kids I promised to make scrapbooks to when I found out I was pregnant to the day they go off to college so, if you want to look at them I have books done from when I got pregnant with her until today but the 4 one isn't finished yet." I smiled and gave him the books.

"Do you mind if I take these and look at them? He smiled.

"No I don't mind at all I just want them back." I smiled.

"So um do you mind me asking how it went?" He said scratching the back of his neck.

"Well, I didn't know what was wrong with me. My mom figured it out since I threw up every morning and my dad ignored me all the time he was embarrassed of me for awhile since I was only 15 and Noah had a bet with Nikki going on that it was a boy and Nikki wanted her to be a girl but as you can tell Nikki won." I laughed. "But it was hard. I had no idea how to take care of a baby especially on my own, without you being around. But I had my dad Noah Nikki and my mom for the first couple months around me. So it all worked out pretty good." I smiled looking at him.

"Your a good mom Alanna. I can tell even though I just found out your a mom and kid of all I'm a dad." He chuckled.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"So when can we tell her?"

"Tomorrow we can."
