George completely forgot about the gatesmen guarding the door.

It's not like he knew then well enough to bribe them or even let him go through without asking questions.

He saw both Ranboo and Tubbo standing on pillars talking to one another, noticing George who stood about seven feet away.

"Hi!" Tubbo was waving his hand and longing out the 'i'.

Ranboo put his finger up to his lip indicating for Tubbo to shut up. "Quiet Tubbo."

Both headed down the ladders to the ground, walking over to George.

"What are you doing out this late?" Ranboo was questioning George as he headed his way.

Scratching the top of his head, he decided he needed to respond. "I um, I'm not sure."

"So you're just wandering around outside for no reason?" Ranboo raised on eyebrow as he crossed his arms, George knew he wasn't going to fall for it.

"Perhaps."

"Then explain the broken window up there, the one you climbed out of. The guards may not have heard you while guarding the castle doors but standing out here in the quiet, a window breaking makes much noise." Ranboo pointed to the broken window that George broke out of and realized the two of them had a perfect view, especially when they were ontop of the pillars.

George didn't know how to respond, he was getting caught. "I-"

"He's with me, I asked him to meet me outside but we both knew the guards wouldn't let him out on his own." A brunette man came from no where while talking.

"What are you even doing with him Karl, aren't you supposed to be with Sapnap?" Ranboo rolled his eyes while talking to the brunette, putting his hand ontop his head.

"I just wanted to see what everyone's been talking about and all. It's all the king can ramble on and on about."

Tubbo waved his hand while he stared at the castle entrance, greeting someone out of nowhere. "Hi Dream!"

Shit. George turned his head backwards to see Dream running from just outside the castle doors.

He was so done with this situation, just wanting to go back and watch the gate. "Might as well bring everyone out don't you think. Who are we missing, Tommy, Wilbur, Phil, hmm Sapnap and Quackity, Niki."

"What are you doing outside George, not to mention with these idiots." Dream walked up to George, standing a few inches a way once again.

Both Tubbo and Ranboo became defensive after they get called idiots. "Hey!"

He couldn't help but step back a few inches or feet as Dream talked to him. "I- I was meeting with Karl but I wasn't sure if they'd let me."

"Nice try but you haven't met him at all these past days, just you, me, Sam, and the King. Do you want to continue this lie."

He walked towards Dream, face becoming saddening. "No. Just take me back I guess."

"Well it's not like we can trust you now can we. We'll have to see what the king says." Dream grabbed George's arm and started heading for the castle entrance. "You two, go back to the gates. And Karl, just go see Sapnap."

Dream took George pass the empty throne room, and down a set of stairs. "Where are we going?"

"Down to my room, if I tell the king you'll go to the dungeons." Opening one of the doors, he walks in with his hand still on George's shoulder.

"I- I'm sorry Dream." George sat on the edge of the bed, ashamed once Dream let go.

Dream faced the door, not staring at George while sighing in relief and taking his mask half off, only showing his lips.

He turned around and headed to sit next to George, not hesitating to put his lips onto his.

What the fuck.

George's heart grew butterflies, face was becoming red. He didn't want this to end, it was breathtaking.

It lasted for but a few minutes til Dream pulled away, fear was all on his face if not regret.

"I- I'm sorry, I can't." He ran outside the room, and shut the door.

Leaving George alone in his room.

There were no windows, the door was shut, and George just layed there alone on Dreams bed. George didn't know where to even began to think, Dream kissed him then ran off.

That was about all he knew besides the fact that he was embarrassed.

What did I do wrong.

George woke up, still in the same position and room he was left in. Dream wasn't there, eyes puffy from crying.

He got up from the bed after a few moments of sharing at the wall, thinking about last night and thinking about his last time in England.

How so much as happened within just a few days.

Went back in time, got kidnapped. Met the King and almost died from a Guard. Now the same one kissed him, leaving George soon after with regret written on his face.

Walking out of the door, he saw Dream. Leaning against the wall and passed out on the floor, a flask in his hand.

His mask was off, fully. Beautiful green eyes, a scar along his left one. He seemed peaceful as he slept yet George felt bad he slept out here.

"Dream?" George shook his shoulder, trying to wake him up. "Dream are you okay?"

"I'm up, I'm up. What do you need?" Dream got up from off the floor, eyes widening when he realized he didn't have his mask on.

George was almost memorized, couldn't help but to stare into his eyes. "Green, or yellow, it suits you y'know."

He put back on the mask while speaking, hiding away his blushing face. "What did you need?"

"I'm sorry about last night, about running off and not mentioning the broken window." Dream stared at George's hand, how he wrapped it in cloth to stop the bleeding. "And I'm sorry for whatever I did back in the room, I didn't mean for that to happen."

"It wasn't your fault but mine...I kissed you and you just did the same but this won't work, can't work." He lifted his mask once more, putting the flash up to his lips but realizing whatever was in it was gone.

George walked over to Dream, leaving a few inches in between them. "Why's that?"

"I'm with Fundy."
