He paused, speaking in a rushed yet hesitant tone. "I know you're not from here nor are you apart of the bloodline but..but how would you feel to become king George?"

"I- um." George was at a complete lost, unable to comprehend what Eret said. To become king. To become king of a palace full of people who hated him, despised him for simply becoming a guest over a false tale in which none knew of. He gulped before speaking once more while Eret was still holding the, what he thinks is a golden like crown within his hands. "You want me to become the king, the king of the kingdom even after you caught me in the lie?"

"I know it's a major responsibility and that it may take you some tim-" It didn't take long at all before George cut Erets sentence short, standing with confidence as he did.

"I'll do it."

They finished their conversation not long after George agreed to take the position and was walking out of the castle when he thought to tell Karl. He was the only person here to count as a friend besides Dream and he was out collecting supplies from someone helpless.

He stopped by the house that he left earlier this morning to see if Karl was still there, he wasn't but Sapnap was.

"What do you need." Sapnap was putting on the rest of his armor when George arrived, his bandanna and helmet being last.

"Um, do you know where Karl is?"

"I'm here, I'm here." The voice let out a little giggle before a head rose up from off the floor on the other side of the bed. Karl.

"I'm so sorry, I'll um. I'll wait in the library." George quickly stepped outside and slammed the door shut. Can't get anymore embarrassing here can it.

"Hello?" Karl opened the door into the library, poking his head in while looking for George.

"Hey."

"Oh um, sorry about-" George didn't let Karl finish, there was no need since it would've been embarrassing on both ends no matter how it was brought up.

"No no it's fine, I get it." George folded his arms and tried to bring the conversation at a little more ease. "I actually wanted to tell you something, about what the king wanted."

Karl was still fixing his shirt when he walked in, not realizing it was on backwards. "What's that."

"Got anymore alcohol?" He let out a little laugh before finishing, seriously hoping that Karl wouldn't let him down.

"Always." Karl walked over to one of the books and shook it in his hand.

George just had a look of confusion on his face, raising an eyebrow. "Mind explaining?"

Karl opened the book to reveal a new bottle of bourbon. "Sapnap might've took all the bottles after what happened." He shut the book and gave the bottle over to George. "Atleast he doesn't know all my hiding spots."

Both let out a small laugh before George took a gulp. "Well, about the King. He asked me if I wanted to take his place."

"THE KING, ERET. HE ASKED YOU TO BECOME KING!?" Karl was excited but loud and wasn't sure who else heard it.
