So the first three episodes were amazing and really got me in my feels
Episode 1:
So this was the Prom episode and it exceeded my expectations. The entire episode was really well shot especially with Choni getting the more screen time they deserve although I feel bad for Cheryl about her reputation. It is nice to see a little Bughead mystery solving and I was a bit suspicious about Jellybean. The Prom segment was amazing and that cute Bughead moment when Betty comes down to Jughead, it was like a 1X13 parallel. Also when they kiss during the slow dance was like sooooo sweet.
I was really sad for Archie like Veronica deserves better because she was ready to put her life on hold for him and Archie seriously is dumb like you could have told her later and not during your damn dance. I love Choni was voted prom queens but I cried when Toni had to leave because of her mother and before Toni comes out to Cheryl and when Nana Rose was taking Cheryl's picture I loved that line:
"Maybe your camera can capture the sublime tragedy of my life."
lmao us right now.
Although, the auteur ruined Prom it was still good enough
Episode 2:
Finally we solve the murder and I was lowkey not shocked that Charles killed the Preppies and my weird brain actually for some reason was happy about that. Why do I feel like Donna would like come back after the time jump since she didn't die? Jellybean was acting weird and I knew she was the auteur. I'm happy for Jug that he got into Iowa even though I was scared he was going to find out about that dumb Barchie shit. The shoulder kiss that Jughead gave Betty though was adorable and it means that a person cares about you. I think that JB got off too easy and she deserved some more punishment.
Episode 3:
THIS EPISODE LEFT ME SOBBING😭😭! I'm sorry, but I couldn't help it and that parallel when Betty kisses Jughead's shoulder is too much and I feel bad for Alice especially since FP was leaving. The graduation scene got me in my feels and the speech Betty gave was actually really nice. She presented the truth instead of giving some cheery speech. FP leaving broke me and I really felt bad since FP kind of became one of my favourites.
The time capsule was great and I'm not gonna lie but seeing the beanie gone was kinda sad since Betty made it and stuff. I loved the vow they made on the bleachers though and when Betty told Jughead I think I lost control on my emotions. It was so cute and sad and Cole and Lili portrayed it so well. Lol you could see the chemistry and emotion and now I have Bughead as well as Sprousehart depression✌️. I loved the emotional Jarchie as well as Beronica moment and I'm happy that they all left on good terms and they're all friends. I love how they drive down so Veronica can say goodbye to Archie one last time. The worst was watching Betty and Jughead on different sides of the bed and slowly drifting apart. Then them saying that they will always love each other was too much for my heart to take to be honest. When Betty left, that hug made feel broken as if I were there. I hate that Jughead was all alone and even one year later HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAME BACK. Like I'm pissed that none of the rest came, but I think it was better for the character development and stuff. However, at the end you see Jughead watching a blonde girl in a pink top (similar to the one Betty wore in 1X13) enter with a red-headed jock with his arm wrapped around her. I realised that it represented Barchie (🤮🤮🤮) and the song was playing 'Love Me Now And Forever' which I think reminds Jughead about everything that happened and that was sad. I feel bad for Jughead...
Episode 4:
I only watched the trailer and I have to say this is going to be intense especially it was hard watching Jughead since apparently he drinks and you can see the alcohol bottles in the background and Cole also described Jughead as Kerouac, an American author who had an alcohol problem, however I hope Betty fixes him. The scene with Betty was also intense like damn that was terrifying and I hope that they are finally addressing the characters issues and trauma. I loved the scene when Archie looked jelly after seeing Veronica with her husband who I don't like, but until next time...
Till then gonna watch fav Bughead moments crying with ice cream.😭😭😭
