Best Friends or More?

Part 10

Betty saw a small little bump on her tummy.

She gasped and finished cleaning herself before she hopped out of the shower and got dressed, then she ran to Jughead.

Betty- Juggie!

Jughead- What? Are you okay?

She nodded and turned to the side while she pulled her shirt up. Then he saw the tiny baby bump.

Jughead- Oh my god.

Betty- It's our baby Juggie!

He placed his hand on her stomach and looked up at her teary eyes before pulling her into a tight hug.

But as they pulled away Betty kissed him on the lips.

He was shocked but didn't say anything.

Then he just walked into his room to shower, leaving Betty alone and scared that she had ruined her friendship.

She ran into her room and just ended up crying, she was confused and she didn't know what to do, she didn't want to ruin things with him.

But suddenly she heard the door open, she turned to see Jughead and instantly he ran to her, seeing her tears.

He pulled her into his lap while he let his arms wrap around her waist, then she spoke.

Betty- I'm sorry, I shouldn't have kissed you. I think the hormones are just confusing me right now and because I have your baby in me they're making me want you. (cries)

Jughead- Betts, it's okay. This pregnancy is changing a lot of things, but no matter what, I'm here.

She nodded and turned around so she was straddling him, then she just hid her head in the crook of his neck while she hugged him.

But this time it was just a hug, a hug that they both needed.

After a minute they got up and finished getting dressed before their parents arrived.

But when they heard the knock on the door Betty became nervous again and clung to Jughead's side.

Then they let their parents in.

They talked for a little bit before they ate dinner but once they ate they decided to tell their parents the big news.

Jughead- Dad, Alice, we actually invited you guys here for a reason. We have some news that we would like to share.

FP- We? Okay then.

Betty- Well, I'm pregnant.

Alice- What?! Betty...w-with who?

Betty- Juggie.

FP- What the fuck?! You two?!

Jughead- It was an accident, we went to a club with Archie and Veronica and we got really drunk. Neither of us even remember it happening.

Alice- So you're telling me that you two had drunk sex and now Betty's pregnant with your kid.

Jughead- Pretty much.

FP- Oh my god.

FP let his head fall into his hands while Alice was just in shock...but then Betty began to cry again.

Those hormones were really getting to her.

Betty- I-I'm s-sorry. (cries)

Jughead got up and pulled Betty into his arms trying to calm her down while Alice walked over to them.

Alice- Betty, why are you crying?

Betty- I don't want you to be mad at me, I didn't mean for this to happen. (cries)

Alice- Sweetheart, I'm not mad at you, I'm just a little shocked by how you two had sex.

Jughead- We are too. (chuckles)

Betty- So you're not mad?

Alice- No, come here.

Betty let go of Jughead and moved into her mothers arms, hugging her tight then FP walked over to them.

FP- So, how are you guys doing this?

Jughead- We're living here together.

Alice- And you're gonna raise the baby here?

Jughead- Until we can get a nicer place, yes.

Both parents nodded and were supportive of their choices.

Betty- Do you guys want pictures?

Alice- Oh my god, yes!

Betty went into her room and grabbed one of the pictures from her side table before giving it to her mother.

Alice- I'm so happy for you guys, this is amazing.

Jughead- It really is.

Jughead wrapped his arms around Betty's stomach while she just laid back into his chest.

FP- Congratulations you two.

Betty- Thank you.

They spent a little while longer talking about the baby and everything but then they left and Betty was tired again.

Jughead laughed at how she just collapsed on the couch but then she reached her arms up to him.

Jughead- You want me to carry you to your bed again?

Betty- No, your bed.

Jughead- My bed?

Betty- I wanna stay with you. (cuddly)

Jughead- Alright.

He picked her up and brought her into his room.

He placed her down gently on the bed and went to get changed.

As soon as he came back Betty cuddled up to him in the bed and fell asleep.

He watched her sleep for a while, not creepily, lovingly.

But that just made him realise he loved her, he was IN love with her.
