Part 14

The next morning Jughead woke up with Betty sleeping on him, both of them still naked, then he looked down at her stomach.

He moved down a little bit and began to give their baby some kisses before he started talking to her.

Jughead- Hi baby girl, I hope you're okay in there. I just want you to know how much I love you and mommy. You two mean the world to me and I promise to love you both forever.

He gave her tummy one last kiss before looking up at Betty who was tearing up.

Betty- Juggie, that was so cute. (tears)

Jughead- I meant what I said, I will love you both forever.

She placed her hand under his chin and brought him up to her lips so she could kiss him softly, then they just cuddled for a while.

But soon Betty jumped up and got dressed wanting nothing more than to go shopping for their baby girl.

Jughead- How about we eat a quick breakfast and then go shopping? You both need to eat something this morning.

Betty- Fine, but come quickly, I need to start buying little dresses!

He chuckled and got dressed before they had a quick breakfast.

Jughead would have eaten a little slower but Betty was too excited so she made him eat fast.

Then they went to the baby store on the Northside of town.

They walked around for hours looking at everything they possibly could, but they decided on only getting the things they needed rather than buying too much.

They started off with getting a crib, a changing table, some diapers, pacifiers, bottles, a breast pump, bibs, a few onesies and a few baby dresses. But then Betty saw the headbands and had to buy at least a few.

Then they bought everything and went home.

That night Archie and Veronica along with their parents came over to help them set up everything in Betty's room which would now be their baby's nursery.

But when they all saw Betty and Jughead kiss, their jaws dropped.

Archie- Woah...

FP- What's happening here?

Betty- O-Oh, um...we uh...

Veronica- You told him?

Betty- Y-Yeah. (blushes)

Jughead- Oh my god! Does she always find out everything before me?

Betty- (giggles) Well, I can't ask you for help if it's about you now can I?

Jughead- I guess not. (chuckles)

Alice- Okay, who's explaining?

Jughead- We're together.

Archie- Finally!

FP- What?

Betty- We both love each other.

Archie- No shit, it took you guys way too long to figure that out.

Betty giggled while Jughead just pulled her closer to him.

Veronica- Alright Arch, I won, pay up!

Betty- What? Were you guys betting on us? (giggles)

Veronica- Yeah. (giggles)

Jughead- When the hell did that start?

Archie- Surprisingly enough, the night that happened.

Archie said, referring to Betty's baby bump.

Betty- Wait, but what was the bet?

Archie- Who would say that they loved the other person first. I said Jug, but Ronnie said Betty.

Veronica- Thanks B, you just won me $50!

Archie- It's not like it even matters anyway, we're literally engaged.

Veronica- Whatever, I still win.

Veronica hugged Betty but then she and Jughead looked towards their parents to see them still in shock.

FP- So you two are together, and we are together?

Jughead- Seems like it.

Alice- We were always a family anyway, and this baby is only going to bring us closer so it's not a big deal.

Betty- Thanks mom.

Alice hugged her daughter and gave her a kiss on the cheek before asking her the question she wanted to know.

Alice- So, what is the gender of the baby?

Jughead- We're not telling anyone.

Archie- Oh come on, why?

Betty- It has to be a surprise.

FP- But you guys know?

Betty- Yes because we are the parents.

Alice- That's so unfair. (pouts)

Jughead- (chuckles) Veronica, I'm surprised you haven't said anything yet.

Veronica- I already begged Betty to tell me, she won't say anything so I'm going to stop bothering her.

Betty- Thanks. (giggles)

Jughead wrapped his arms around Betty's tummy, rubbing his hand up and down where the baby was until he suddenly felt something.

That feeling made Betty gasp and jump slightly.

Betty- Oh my god...

Jughead- Did you feel that?

Veronica- What?

Alice- What was it?

Betty- The baby kicked.

Veronica- WHAT?!

FP- Oh my god!

Archie- That's amazing!

Betty- Jug, put your hands back where they were.

He wrapped his arms back around his baby mama and now girlfriend and waited to see if they would receive another kick from their baby girl.

She didn't at first but after a minute she did, making Betty cry tears of joy.

Betty turned around and hugged Jughead tightly while he wrapped his arms around her waist.

Betty- She moved Juggie. (whispers)

Jughead- I know, it's amazing, I can't wait to meet her. (whispers)

Betty- Neither can I. (whispers)
