"Is Y/S/N over? Jhené was seen with ex boyfriend Big Sean! They had been spotted having dinner and heading to a hotel? Was it PR or are Jhené and Y/N really over?"
Y/N looked away from the TV and slammed back the shot and found herself thinking about how they first met.
Start Of The Story
Y/N looked around nervously, her mom just dropped her off at school, and she didn't know a single person. They were always moving so she didn't really try to make friends because she knew she would switch schools in a couple of months. She looked around the classroom and felt her heart start racing. Kids were staring at her and she didn't like it. "Hi sweetheart, you're Y/N right?" The teacher asked. Like a turtle, her head shrunk into her shoulders and she nodded her head slowly.
"I'm Ms. Kelly, did you want me to help you with your stuff?" She asked. Y/N shook her head and gripped her backpack tighter, looking around for an open seat. She didn't like that the attention was on her. "Follow me sweetheart." Ms. Kelly said and Y/N slowly followed her, keeping her head down. "This is Jhené and Maxwell. They'll be your table mates until the end of the year." Y/N nodded her head took her seat between the two. Her head down as she tried calming herself down.
"Are you okay?" Y/N's head turned and looked at the girl that had made her ear tingle. Y/N nodded her head before looking back at the table. "You have really pretty eyes" Jhené commented. "Thank you" Y/N whispered. "You're supposed to give me one back. It's nice to do." Jhené whispers. "You're pretty" Y/N whispers back. She didn't know you had to be nice when someone complimented you. "Do you want to sit with me at lunch? After lunch we have recess and we can play on the slides or the monkey bars." Jhené whispers excitedly. "Okay" Y/N nods her head before she started smiling.
"I'm Maxwell" The boy next to Y/N said, sticking his hand out. "I'm Y/N" Y/N said before shaking his hand. Her confidence growing after her interaction with Jhené. "Né Né and me always play on the monkey bars." Maxwell said. "It's Jhené and I." Jhené corrected. "Whatever... You seem cool." Y/N smiled as she nodded her head. Y/N looked around and smiled, not being used to making friends that fast. Her cheeks heating up when Jhené giggled. "You're cute" She complimented and Y/N let out a giggle as her ears and cheeks started burning up.
Time Skip
"How the hell are we gonna hang out if all our classes are different?" Y/N groaned as Jhené and Maxwell showed her their schedules for their classes for 7th grade. "We can hang out after school and during lunch." Maxwell smiled, trying to cheer his best friends up. "That's not enough time" Jhené whined. She clung to Y/N and Y/N's ear and cheeks turning red as Jhené's breath hit her neck. She was a growing kid and her hormones were also going crazy. She might not have the body of a boy but her lower region was definitely all male. Maxwell pursed his lips and looked down, knowing that Y/N had the biggest crush on Jhené.
"We have the weekends as well." Maxwell added. "Yeah but what can we do? We can go to the mom and pops on the corner and that's it. It's Slauson so we can't really do much." Y/N mumbled. "There's lots to do. We just can't be wearing certain colors." Jhené shrugged. "What you talking about? We gotta Crip it all the way in Slauson." Y/N said as she started Crip walking.
"You ain't no Crip. Sit down." Jhené laughed. "The only way to make it in Slauson is to either Crip it or work at McDonalds. I'd take Crippin' all day." Y/N said as she took a seat next to Jhené. "You're crazy." Jhené giggled. "And don't you forget it." Y/N said with a smirk. "every time we come over, you always have something stupid to say." Maxwell joked. "Don't get choked." Y/N glared at Maxwell before laughing with Jhené and Maxwell.
"Walk me home?" Jhené asked Y/N. "I'm not gonna let you walk home alone." Y/N said as she put her shoes on. Jhené threw her backpack on and Y/N followed Jhené out her house, Maxwell going across the street to his house. Jhené lived 2 blocks from them and it was starting to get dark so Y/N walked her home every day. "You look cute with your little jacket." Jhené said, her voice soft. Y/N loved whenever Jhené complimented her. It made her feel confident. "You look beautiful every day." Y/N said as she wrapped her arm around Jhené's shoulder as they walked.
