"I miss you so much" Y/N groaned when Jhené answered the phone. "I miss you too baby. It's so weird waking up without you." Jhené sighed. Y/N laid her head back on her pillow and closed her eyes. "Don't remind me. It's hard adjusting to not having you with me 95 percent of the time. School is now weird- speaking of school, my mom said she was starting the process of homeschool so I can finish early. I begged her until she got annoyed and finally agreed." Y/N laughed.

"Really? You'll be able to graduate early if you complete everything fast. You'll be able to come stay with me for a while. My mom started homeschool for me with Epic but I'm not really feeling this label. I feel like they aren't as serious about my music as I am." Jhené sighed.

"I was reading into Epic's history with their clients and it seems like all artists that have left the label said the same thing. It's not surprising with the lack of promoting they do for their artists and the amount of PR they do. You think you should sign that contract? I would talk to your manager about auditions with other record labels just in case." Y/N suggested. "My mom said the same thing or go back to school and finish it before continuing my career." Jhené responded.

"I just want what is best for you. You're too hard working to be put aside while they try working on the next wannabe Beyoncé." Y/N sighs out. "I am gonna try it out and if I don't like it, I'm going to come home." Jhené tells Y/N. "Do what you gotta do baby. I got your back until the end." Y/N mumbles. Her eyes closing as she slowly started falling asleep. She had been out all night last night helping JJ run some errands.

"You hear me Y/N/N?" Y/N jumps at Jhené's voice. "What you say baby?" Y/N sat up and focused on her conversation with her girlfriend. "I asked if you're still in school right now or are you just chilling until everything is done for home school?" Jhené repeated.

"I'm chilling. My mom said it's gonna be a week before everything is finished." Y/N explained. "So you can come to LA and stay with me?" Jhené's voice filled with hope. "I gotta ask mom first but I'm sure I'll be able to drive out to you." Y/N mumbles. "My mom told me that we're about to go out to eat so I gotta get ready." Jhené sighed.

"Alright. I love you. Call me later." Y/N tells Jhené. "I love you too." Jhené says before hanging up. Y/N closed her eyes but groaned when someone knocked on her door. "Man. Nobody lets me sleep." Y/N mumbled to herself. She opened the door and looked at the person weirdly.

"Can I help you?" Y/N asked. "Y/LN?" He asked. "Who's asking?" Y/N crossed her arms. "Your dad." Y/N's arms fell and she looked at the man. "I don't have a dad." Y/N shrugged. "Would you like to go out for some dinner with your sperm donor then?" He asked. "If he pays." Y/N shrugs again.

Y/N followed him out to his car and climbed into the passenger seat. Y/N side eyed the man in the drivers seat before smacking her lips. "You definitely got your moms attitude." He spoke. "Didn't you beat my mom for giving you attitude?" Y/N looked at her donor and watched as his face fell. "I regret what I did when I was younger. I take full responsibility for my actions but what I did was because I was taught by my dad. I didn't know better but I have apologized to your mother and I think that I've grown from my past." He explained.

Y/N just kept quiet the rest of the ride and held back a smile when she saw the familiar Rally's sign. (I had Rally's for the first time the other day and omg! It's so good. Their funnel fries are good)

She climbed out of the car and followed Paul into the restaurant. She walked up to the counter and put her order in before making her way to the table. She sat and looked out the window. Paul sat across from her and looked at her.

"Why now?" Y/N questions. "I've spent years hating myself for leaving you and treating you and your mom the way I did. I wasn't the man I am today and I know that it may not mean anything to you but I truly did miss y'all when y'all left me. It took me months to recognize all my wrongs. When I finally accepted what I did, I started working on bettering myself before I introduced myself to you." He explained.
