"You ever wonder if your soul mate is out there somewhere?" Jhené asked as Y/N and her laid down on the grass field by the park they lived by. "I like to think that I already met mine." Y/N mumbled nervously. They were about to start their Freshman year in high school and Y/N was nervous. "Who is it?" Jhené questioned. "I don't know but I feel like I already know mine. I just don't know yet." Y/N shrugged. "We're about to be in high school." Jhené sighed out. "We'll be friends no matter what right?" Y/N asked. "You're stuck with me for life." Jhené smiled at Y/N.

"Good because we're supposed to go to the same college. We gotta make these songs together." Y/N said. Jhené giggled and laid her head on Y/N's chest, smiling when Y/N's heartbeat sped up. "Your heart is racing." Jhené whispers. "I can't help it. A gorgeous girl is touching me." Y/N responded. "You're still a big flirt." Y/N laughed and nodded her head. "You're still gorgeous." Y/N countered. "Stooop. You're making me blush." Jhené chuckled. "Good. It means I'm doing something right." Y/N said.

"Jamila said that you better not start acting like a hoe when we get to school tomorrow." Jhené told Y/N. "Tell her I said Ribbit." Jhené giggled and lightly hit Y/N's stomach. "Y'all always calling each other names." Jhené shoo her head. "She started it when she said I had a big head." Y/N defended herself. "I remember you screaming and running from her." Jhené said. "She scared me but I'm grown now. I can take her." Y/N flexed, smiling when Jhené let out another laugh. "You know your classes?" Jhené asked. "I got to pick it from the office tomorrow. I didn't get it when we enrolled me. They were too busy trying to figure out the bathroom situation." Y/N told her. "They giving you a hard time because of Y/N Jr.?" Y/N nodded her head and sighed. "I don't know why it's such a big deal. I can still use the girls bathroom but they won't let me because it could 'Make girls uncomfortable'. Shit's annoying as fuck." Y/N groaned.

"Fuck those girls. You are perfect to me." Jhené sat up and looked down at Y/N. "You're only saying that because you're my best friend." Y/N mumbled. "I don't have to say it but I do because that's how I feel. I would never lie to you." Jhené spoke softly, knowing Y/N was insecure about her extra package. She never fit in with everyone else when they found out about her little friend in 8th grade. Her confidence dropping a little when she was made fun of for it.

"I'm just worried that I'm never gonna get a girlfriend because they don't think I'm normal." Y/N expressed. "Fuck them if they don't see that you're just like everyone. What's between your legs shouldn't determine your worth. If they can't see past that, they're not for you and you move on to someone that see past that. Someone will love you for you and not what's down below." Jhené spoke passionately. "I love you" Y/N said. "I love you more now lets go to my house and watch a movie before you gotta go home." Y/N nodded her head and stood up, helping Jhené up, and they started walking to Jhené's house.

"What's up big head" Jamila spoke. "Ribbit" Y/N laughed when Jamila threw a pillow at her. Jhené smacking her stomach softly. "Stop" She giggled. "We're only playing" Y/N chuckled before following Jhené into the living room, knowing there was just that TV. Her family not having the money to buy another. "Poetic Justice" Jhené smiled at Y/N. "We're always watching this movie." Y/N groaned. "Because it's good." Jhené said. "Whatever. Lets get it started." Y/N said, opening her arms, and waiting for Jhené to cuddle into her.

Time Skip

Y/N started walking towards Jhené's locker but stopped when she saw Vincent Young talking to Jhené. She bit her lip when she heard Jhené giggle and push him away. She didn't want to see her being hit on by anyone and decided to just walk home alone. It wasn't normal of her to do but Jhené obviously didn't need her there. She walked past JJ's house and stopped when he yelled for her.

"What's up JJ?" Y/N asked. "Can you run a few errands for me?" He asked. "Depending on what it is." Y/N said. "I got a couple of dime bags that I gotta sell. I'll let you keep half if you can sell them to some of the kids at your school? I won't ask again." He said. "At school? I can get in a lot of trouble." Y/N said. "I'll owe you bro." Y/N sighed before nodding. "I want the El Camino sitting in your yard. I'll help you today and tomorrow get rid of your stash." Y/N bargained. "Done." JJ stuck his hand out and Y/N shook hands. "I also want some of the cash." Y/N said. "We got a deal kid. Don't get caught." He said before handing her half of the stash and Y/N made her way around the neighborhood, collecting what she could before she had to get home.
