Last night and both Y/N and Jhené were both sad. They had never been apart longer than 12 hours since becoming friends in 5th grade. Jhené was cuddled into Y/N's side as they laid in the back of Y/N's car and looked up at the stars. They had decided to spend their last night together and Y/N would drop Jhené off at home the next morning. Their parents suspicious of what they would do but let them anyways.
"I wish we had more time together." Jhené mumbled. "Me too but you're doing what you love so I'm gonna support you any way I can. Don't let them give you a bogus ass deal. You get that money." Jhené giggled at Y/N's words and nodded her head. "Mom got me a phone with unlimited minutes so we can talk. Your mom said she was gonna get you a phone so you could keep in contact as well." Jhené looked up at Y/N and smiled. "We only got two months before we can see each other again. Once school ends, I'm hitting that highway straight to you. Right as that bell rings." Y/N smiles as she brings her hand up and caresses Jhené's cheek.
"I'll try get the house empty so we can have alone time." Jhené winked. Y/N laughed and shook her head. "Your face scrunches up when you wink." Y/N told her as she made the made the same face. Jhené laughed and covered Y/N's face when she kept making the face. Y/N laughed and moved Jhené's hands from her face. "You gonna use any songs that you wrote recently?" Y/N asked. "We still gotta get past the audition part but I plan to use songs that I've written." Jhené sighs.
"How you feeling about the audition? You nervous? excited? Tell me how you feel." Y/N questions as she rolled over onto her side and looked at Jhené. She leaned on her arm and waited for Jhené to speak to her. "At first, I was nervous but I'm neutral if that makes sense. I don't want to leave you and school but this is what I want to do. I have to make sacrifices if I wanna do what I love." Jhené explained. "I understand. The hardest thing to do is leave your comfort zone, but you have to let go of the life you're familiar with and take that risk to live the life you've dreamt about. You can't grow if you stay in your comfort zone and not explore the possibilities of what can and can't be. Take those chances and learn from them." Y/N smiles softly at Jhené. "Where did my cocky and wannabe Crip go?" Jhené teased.
"I'm learning from you every day and why not share some of your wisdom with yourself to help you on your journey? I got you if you got me. Until the next life." Y/N leans down and presses a gentle kiss to Jhené's lips. "I love you" Jhené says before leaning back in and kissing Y/N. Her hands going to Y/N's cheeks and pulling her closer to deepen the kiss. "I love you more." Y/N breathes out against Jhené's lips. Y/N pulled back and looked down at her with a smile on her face.
"What?" Jhené asks with a smile as well. "You're beautiful" Y/N sighs out happily. "You say that every day. I can't be beautiful every day." Jhené tells Y/N. "Fine. You're beautiful every other day and gorgeous the rest. Stop talking like that." Y/N rolled her eyes before she turned over and looked up at the sky. "You've been saying that since 7th grade." Jhené said before cuddling into Y/N's side. "You have too. I don't like when you downgrade yourself. You're beautiful inside and out. You're just crazy as fuck but you're my crazy." Y/N laughed when Jhené smacked her stomach. "I'm not crazy. I'm just emotional." Jhené gasped. "That's okay. I like when you get crazy. It just shows that you really do care." Y/N shrugged.
"Parks closed. You gotta go." Both girls jumped when an officer shined their flashlight in their face. "My bad. We lost track of time." Y/N said before she slowly started climbing out the back of the car. She waited until the officer started walking away before she helped Jhené out. "We gotta go. They aren't usually nice like this." Y/N mumbles before helping Jhené into the car. She turned back around to see the cop still watching them not too far away. Y/N climbed in and looked at Jhené. "Make sure you got your mama on speed." Y/N tells her before she starts the car and starts pulling out of the parking lot of the park.
