Since it is a party its required for alcohol to be associated with. Since everyone is drunk they're all unstable except for one who didn't want to drink. Nolan. He said he doesn't drink and he didn't want to and his friends respected it. So while the others were chugging down alcohol in their throats Nolan stayed on the couch drinking his soda. He was okay with the silence until someone sat beside him.

???: hey

Nolan looked to see who it was only to find out it was his boyfriend Lou who is now drunk.

Nolan: jeez Lou you're drunk come on lets get you to your house.

Nolan told his friends that they're leaving and he heard Michael shout "wear protection!" and just rolled his eyes. He assisted Lou to the passager seat. Its a good thing he knows how to drive. While driving home Lou said somethings that made Nolan stop functioning.

Lou: baby

Nolan: yeah?

Lou: can we?

Nolan knew what he meant.

Nolan: no

Lou: why??

Nolan: jeez you were drugged huh?
