"hey Lou i made you a flower crown" Nolan said with a smile.
"oh what type of flowers are they?" Lou said as he looked at the flowers that was formed into a circle.
"they're dandelions with some carnations scattered" Nolan said as he placed the flower crown on Lou's head.
They both sat down beside a tree, spring causing the field of flowers to bloom. Nolan held Lou's hand and squeezed it firmly. They sat there as the sun went out of view and the stars showed brightly along with the shining moon.
"do you remember when i told you about the meaning of carnation?" Nolan looked at Lou who had the star's reflection in his eyes.
"yeah Different colors have different meanings" Lou said as he looked at Nolan, not breaking eye contact.
"do you know what deep red means?" Nolan said brushing Lou's cheek with his thumb.
"of course, it means love and affection" Lou said as he melt in Nolan's touch. Nolan smiled every so sweetly. He stood up and offered Lou a dance. They danced there, flowers swayed with them, and the stars being their light.
"Remember the promise we made when you were giving up?" Nolan said as he looked at Lou.
"we'll love each other unconditionally even when the whole universe is against us" Lou said.
"do you know my favorite quote?" Nolan asked so gently.
""even if our book ends, there will always be another book for us to meet again"" Lou recited
" so even if the world seperates us, we'll find each other in the next life" they both said and smiled at each other. As Lou spun Nolan around, Nolan disappeared. Lou looked around but only heard Nolan's voice.
"know that I'll always love you even in another universe, so look for me in our next life" was the last thing Nolan said as Lou woke up
