its the day. the day they wish didn't came. but it was here, they cant do anything about it. nolan was in his room fixing his suit, he looks i the mirror and notice how tears were running down his cheeks. he sobbed a little more, he heard footsteps and quuickly composed himself as he heard a knock.

Lou: your highness?

Nolan: come in

Lou went inside and noticed his lover was crying, he quickly locked the door and rushed to hug Nolan. Nolan cried again, this time harder.

Nolan: I don't wanna do this lou, I hate this, I hate it so much. Please get me out of here, please. I wanna be with you, I wanna wake up in your arms everyday and make breakfast for you without any hindrance. Please just please.

Lou felt tears forming in his eyes. He hates himself because he cant fulfill his lovers wishes.

Lou: im sorry, you know I cant do that. You know they'll find us. Im sorry my love

Nolan sobbed even more knowing whatever they do it was just impossible. If he knew it would be like this he'd rather not have a heart at all. After a little more crying lou broke the hug and wore a broken smile.

Lou: your highness we need you to get ready for your wedding, lets fix you up shall we?

When it was time the went outside to the church where everyone was. Everyone wore formal outfits. As Nolan stood next to the altar lou stood by the side admiring his lover. Oh how he wish he was the one there and Nolan walking down the isle glowing under the church lights while everything slows down and its just them  and their world. But that cant happen. He sees princess Mandy in her white gown walking down the isle, walking towards a man who she'll be with for the rest of their life, a man who will treat her good, a soon to be couple who will make the whole kingdom proud and happy. Seeing the love of his life get married but not to him not in this lifetime. Hearing them say "I do" to each other wishing he could object but that means more conflict and he knows Nolan will be in more danger. Seeing them dance as a newlywed couple. Seeing people congratulate them. Knowing he has to keep his distance now. Because its for the best.

Nolan: hey Micheal have you seen lou?

Micheal: oh sorry your highness but I haven't

Nolan just whispered an "oh" and looked down. He went to the library to read when he saw Mandy and sat infront of her. She noticed him and knew there was something wrong.

Mandy: what's wrong?

Nolan: I couldn't find lou and I think ever since our wedding 9 months ago he's been avoiding me. There's going to be a war and I don't want him to go.

Mandy: but he's one of your best soldiers he has to and maybe he's training that's why you haven't seen him.

A war happened. It was terrible. But they won. They won. So why are they not celebrating?

Nolan looked at Michael with confusion but still followed him. They went to the gate where they would welcome soldiers who fought the bloody battle. Some came back with injuries, some didn't, some came back with their eyes closed. Nolan didn't know lou would be one of them. He ran towards lou's lifeless body, he shook it to see if its real, if he's actually gone. He was. Lou was gone. Nolan hugged his body and cried he didn't care if there were people who saw him this is his lover the one he cares the most. Now he's gone. Nolan screamed and cried shouting his name in sense that lou will come back. He didn't. he whispered "why" over and over again.
