While driving he thought of going somewhere just to get some fresh air but he didn’t think he’d go to a lake but here he is now, no shoes, just feeling the cold water on his feet and cold air on his skin. He sat near a tree and think of anything to solve this mess he was in. Nolan on the other hand is now sobbing in his bed thinking why he’s feeling like this.

The next day was a Friday so there was school. As Lou sat down on his chair he noticed Nolan’s stuff wasn’t there so he just thought he was late. Butr as time went by Nolan still haven’t arrived. Lou went home and re thinked what happened this week. He wanted to say sorry. As he remembered all of it occasional coughing with petals were happening, only this time it was more blood and more petals. He felt like dying, it was not good. Micheal on the other hand knew its not going to be a pleasant thing to keep them like this so he had to do something. He made a phone call.

Lou was laying in his bed because he lost strength to do anything else. He opened his eyes to the sound of his door opening. As he was about to complain about not knocking he saw someone he wouldn’t expect to be here but he was here. Nolan was standing there hand still holding the door knob, almost out of breath.

Lou: what are you----

Lou was about to ask what he was doing here but he was cut off by Nolan hugging him tight. Nolan started to cry as he held him tighter.

Nolan: why didn’t you tell me?

Lou: about what?

Nolan: about your hanahaki disease, I could’ve helped you through it

Lou: you wont be able to help

Nolan: why?

Lou: because YOU’RE the one im in love with, okay?

Nolan was silent.

Nolan: wait me?

Lou: yes you geez

Nolan: i—why didn’t you tell me?

Lou: how was I supposed to know you weren’t straight

Nolan: fair point

Lou was about to speak but he suddenly coughed. Nolan went to assist him. Lou kept coughing until a flower came out. It was a beautiful carnation. Lou looked up to see Nolan’s reaction he was surprised too.

Nolan: you’re cured

He said it shocked. They both met eyes before they hugged each other and cried tears of joy. Finally they could express their feelings well and not have to worry about anything anymore. Lou was the first one to break the hug and said:

Lou: Nolan my love, will you go out with me?

Nolan was shocked but nodded and continued to cry tears of joy.
