My name is Bogumierz Eiko. I'm a single human male, in my 20's and with brown hair, I'm 5 ft 10 inches, and I live in at the beach city in California for as long as I can remember. I live by myself in a nice apartment. It's not all that fancy, but not too bad and plenty of room.

I really don't like to talk about my backstory for personal reasons. But One thing I will let you know: I'm a furry. Basically, I like any anthropomorphic animals with human characteristics. I never really have any interest in dating any human and longed to date a real anthro someday, even if some people say it's impossible and telling me to find a real girlfriend. Like I would stop. They just don't know me that well.

It was a nice sunny day a few days after spring brake. The air was cool and crisp, the sun was warm, and the beach has finally calmed down after a few spring breaker came by and party. Today, I'm enjoying my day off from work and just let my skin bath in the warm sunlight.

Few weeks ago, Spring breakers were killed one by one by some creature, and then got killed by some unknown circumstances. It was crazy. Police say that it was all caused by a group of deranged lunatics killing for reasons yet unexplained. Few days later, they vanished. No one can explain what happened. But for whatever it may be, I'm glad they're not here. Because I need this day all to myself.

The beach was now open for everyone after the investigation was called off. Yet people are afraid of going near the beach. It doesn't bother me. Not one bit. And the best part is, I can relax all by myself.

As I sat and looked at the sky, I thought about when I'm gonna find an anthro girl someday because sometimes I'm very lonely and longed for a special anthro to be with. People at my workplace told me it's not real and to find a real girl to date. Heck, even one human girl was trying to hit on me. But I ignored it all. I don't want to date a human. I want to date an anthro. If I'm to die alone before they exist, so be it.

A good few minutes later, I got up and left the beach. And a good thing too because I didn't have any sunscreen left. I decided to walk around the small beach city to buy some for next time. As I entered the store, Some locals were talking. I admit. I'm an eyedropper and curiosity gets the best of me sometimes.

"Did you hear the rumors?"

"No. What?"

"They say that a monster came by last night looking for something, and stole some drinks from the store."

"Are you sure it wasn't an alcoholic in a Halloween costume?"

"Dude! I'm serious! It didn't look like a costume! It was real!"

"Yea, and I say it's bull crap."

Monster? For real? This beach hardly has anything exciting. Granted there was a killing spree at the beach during spring break, but a monster taking drinks? Who does that?

* * *

The sun was now setting. Just seeing it now eased away any form of trouble and worry. In fact, I decided to just stop by and enjoy it while the sun continues to drop. While watching the sun, I thought about the rumors the others have been spreading. If by any chance it's true, then every store clerk should lock their stores up just in case. But still, why drinks? Why not people, money, or destroy a building for that matter? Who knows?

After the sun disappeared and the moon and stars take place, I decided to walk back to my apartment. The streets were light up be street light so that no one would get lost in the dark. But there's hardly anyone out here, Not that I mind or anything. It gave me some tranquility as I feel the night's cool air on my way home.

Unbeknownst to me, A shadowy figure appeared in a form of a female slender person. It looked both ways with it's red eyes before running toward the back of the store the moment it was clear. Once it reaches behind the store, it went through it's bag and pulled out what appeared to be a set of keys and uses it to unlocked the door and went inside.

"Come on. Come on." Said the figure.

As soon as the figure opened the door, an alarm was set off. Apparently, the store owners installed a new security system in order to prevent any criminal from breaking in.

"Shit!"

The figure saw the clerk coming in with a shotgun. He looked very annoyed, and determined to keep his store from being robbed. The moment the clerk saw her, he aimed at it with his shotgun.

"So you must be that monster that kept stealing my booze! Well, not tonight you piece of shit!" He shouted as he fired his gun at the figure.

The figure was fast, but not fast enough. The gunshot had damaged her side as she was escaping. It also damaged the strap on the bag, causing it to break off and landed on the street. The creature saw this, but didn't dare to look back. It was run or get killed. And getting killed was not an option.

The figure quickly chant some words and changed into a female human. She managed to escape, but she was too injured to continue any further. She laid on the wall next to the big trash bin, while losing conciseness....
