Helluva Friend

Chapter 10

The City Beach Starfish Mall. A newly built mall here in the beach city. It wasn't too big, just big enough for many people to shop and explore. It also has many stores: Kohls, Gamestop, Bath and Body Works, you name it. I always enjoyed going to the mall there. And now, I'm taking Loona there for her to get new clothing.

"Wow. This is nice." Loona complemented the interior designs of the mall.

"It is. Isn't it?" I asked her. "Now, let's get you to Kohls so that we can get you some clothing."

As we walked towards the Kohls entrance, Loona eyes sparkled as she saw another store next to Kohls: Hot Topics. I saw the look on her eyes. She wanted to go there and buy clothes there. I guess she's into goth. I decided to give her a chance and explore in there to see if there's anything she likes. She dashed in there like no tomorrow.

The store was filled with with every item involving Anime, Games, and other various themes. I admit, it has a lot of things I like. But I never once bought anything here. Still, first time for everything since Loona is more interested in clothing here than Kohls.

She was looking through gothic clothes from shirts, to pants, to jacket. She even picked some out to try in a dressing room. I didn't even know there was a dressing room in hot topics. After finding several clothes and a red jacket, she went in the room to try it on.

The first was a short red shirt with the word "Savage" on it with a pair of blue shorts. The next was a long black and red dress with a small inverted hexagon on the chest area while wearing high heel boots. The third was a mesh top where a sports bra is visible, and wearing slightly ripped jeans. The last was a blue shirt, Tight black shorts, High heels, and a red jacket with small but painless spikes on it. Damn. I have to admit. She looks amazing in all of those. I guess being Gothic really fits her.

"Wow. Loona. You look great in all of them." I said.

Loona smiled. "Thanks Bogy. You getting anything?"

"Oh no no. We're here for you to get new clothes. Besides, I don;t think there's anything for me here."

Loona continued to look around a bit. I thought she had more than enough. Then, she spotted a long red jacket. It wasn't too heavy so it could be worn even in the summer. It also a has a small chest pocket on the left side that can hold a good amount of items. Also, it had a unique tribal design on the back that looked like a wolf howling.

"Here Bogy. Try this." She brought the jacket up to me.

"Loona. I don't think-"

"Come on. I bet you'll great in it." She begged me to try it one.

At last, I gave in and put the jacket on. I then looked at the mirror to see how I look. I thought I was gonna hate it, but this...this actually fits me. It doesn't feel heavy, or hot or cold. It just felt like I'm not wearing the jacket at all. Strange. And to top it all off, I look really good in this. I say this is perfect. Even Loona stated I look handsome in it.

Soon I paid for the whole thing. Loona now has plenty of items to wear while she's here. All of it was expensive. But I had more than enough to make it through. What's important is that Loona won't have to walk around naked.

"I can't thank you enough. I really love these." Loona said as she was holding her bag of clothes.

"No problem." I said to her. "It's better than no clothes right?"

"Or better than wearing news paper as clothing." We both laughed. She sounds cute when she laughs. It shows me that she's still a good person no matter what she wears on the outside. Loona was awesome.
