The Beach city is booming with life. Surfers here, tourists there, and many other kinds of people. Loona didn't seem that interested at all. In fact, if I have to guess correctly, she is only interested in finding her bag and book. Oh well. At least it saves me the trouble of giving her a tour.

"Now you sure you can't remember the last time you lost the bag?" I asked her. Loona Looked at me with annoyance.

"I already told you! I don't know! It was too dark and I was running for my life!" I was shocked. She never mentioned this.

"Wait what? Running for your life? From what or whom?"

"I don't know. I didn't get a good look at him." Well. This is not a good start. I tried to think of something when all of a sudden, a certain someone got in our way.

It was Hector Foren. A complete asshole I met years ago. Since that day, he's always made fun of me for my desire to be with a furry girl and tried to toughen me up. And when I say toughen me up, I mean he's been abusing me in some ways that could considered him an immature person. He is also a womanizer and a flirt. Some think he's a perfect man for any girl, but he is unloyal, perverted, and sometimes he will force his way into a girl's pants.

"Hello Bogumierz. Finally decided to drop the furry shit and date a real girl?" Loona looked at me with a surprise look on her face. But instead of me turning to her to try making excuses, I stared at Hector in a foul manner.

"Shut up, Hector. We are not dating. I'm just helping her out."

Knowing this, Hector looked at Loona. Even she was disgusted by him and looked away.

"Well then. How's about I take this girl out instead? It's not like you two have a lot in common." Hector reached his hand for Loona. She slapped it away and gave him a death stare.

"Fuck off, Pervert!"

"Oh come on baby. Why are you hanging out with that loser when you can hang out with a real man?" He began showing off his muscles. God he makes me sick.

"Hector was it?" She asked.

"The one the only."

"Tell me: did you gain all that muscle in exchange for having a small penis?"

Hector's mouth dropped in response to this, and I nearly busted out laughing. Priceless!

"T..t...THAT'S NOT TRUE!" Hector tried to defend himself. But I can tell it's not working.

"Then explain why there is no bulge in your pants." Loona pointed it out. "Is it because you use steroids to gain muscles?"

"Wha.....Why would I do that?!"

"Come on. You know why."

Hector was speechless. In all his life, no girl as ever talked back at him, nor insulting him. Serves him right. He needed a wake up call.

Loona's a smart girl all right. The way she handled it was proof. I thought she would hang out with him in an instant, but I was wrong. Not only did she turned him down, but she embarrassed him in front of me and some other people.

Hector left in anger without saying anything. When he was gone, I laughed my ass off. Man it felt good to give Hector a taste of his own medicine. Even Loona joined me in laughter. After a minute, we continued walking.

"Holy shit, Loona. That was awesome!" I complimented her. "That jackass deserved it!"

"Thanks." She smiled. "By the way. What did he meant by "Furry shit"? Are you...a furry?" She looked at me while keeping a bit of distance. I knew she would do that. Most people would do that.

"I am. But don't worry. I'm not a sex craved furry, nor will I wear a suit. I'm a furry because...well, it's too personal. But let's just say I want to have an anthro as a friend someday. And probably spend my entire life with."

"Spend your entire life with, huh?"

"Yea. So don't worry. I'm still normal. I won't do any of that furry stuff around you. You can trust me."

Loona looked at me with curiosity while keeping a small distance from me. I know she's trying to figure me out, to see if I am telling the truth or not. She was a bit disgusted by the furry part, and who can blame her? Most people would do the same.

As she was still thinking about whether or not to take my word for it, she bumped into a man with grayish brown hair and beard, wearing a white dress next to a small church. I saw who it was. It was Teivel, the Bishop of the beach city's church.

Teival works at the church to help people find their path to religion and place their faith to god. You think that automatically makes Teival kind, but the truth is; he's not a kind person. In fact, we would often force people to believe, and he never believes in redemption and sees any type of evil as an unforgivable act of sin. He often tries to make me a believer in his twisted version of faith. He gives christians a bad name.

"Mr. Eiko. Have you come to accept your place as god's follower?" He asked emotionlessly.

"No." I responded. "I'm helping my friend, Loona."

Tevial looked at her and notices her inverted hexagon string on her shirt and gave us a cold stare. Loona covered he chest with her arms, believe he was staring at her breasts.

"Fool. You are helping a child of the Devil. A demon worshiper like her does not deserve any help and should be rioting away in Hell."

Tevial was about to slap Loona, but I got in front to take the blow. It stings, but I've had worse. Far worse. Loona was surprised by this. But Tevial looked pissed.

"Bogumierz Eiko! Have you forsaken god, for her!? Have you no shame!? If you help this evil little whore, you will suffer eternal damnation!"

Loona took that as an insult. She was about to give that sad excuse of a Bishop, but I stopped her. I looked up to him with boldness.

"I don't care. I follow the faith I believe in and what I chose. You have no right to make that decision for me, nor for her! Come on Loona." I grabbed her hand and we both walked away, while Tevial kept his eye on us still.

"You fool! God will not accept this! God will never let you in his paradise!"

I was about to shout back at him, but held myself back. We soon got away from him and continued walking. Loona was amazed by my actions. She had never seen anything like that before. She was about to say thank you, but stopped. I guess she's too stubborn to admit it. That's fine.

We continued to walk. Loona was wondering why we're not looking at every corners of the street for her belongings. Instead, we were just walking straight ahead on the sidewalk.

"Bogy. Where are we going?" She asked me.

"We're going to the police station. The police finds a lot of strange things on the streets. If any of them are belongings of some sort, they go into the lost and found section."

"And you think my bag might be there?"

"It's a possibility."

Loona took my word for it. Soon we were in front of an a building with a police star on it as a logo. It wasn't the biggest, but it was big enough since it was in a small beach city. Let's hope they have it all right....
