Chapter 18

I was in absolute pain. Teviel, now the most sadistic man ever, was torturing me. My hands were chained upwards and my feet were ties down. My body was covered in burned slashes from front to back while my clothes were tarnished and stained with my blood. The burned markings on my skin were still extremely hot, and it made my skin feel like it's going to fall off. It was unbearable. Plus, I was losing a lot of blood. I can tell because my body was starting to get cold, despite the horrible burning sensation.

Teviel, while holding the blazing sword on one hand and the book on the other, was now in front of me. "Mr. Eiko. Tell me. How, do I open the portal again? What did that monster say and do?"

I looked up to him and remained silent. I wasn't going to give in, no matter what he does. He swinged his sword at me again. I screamed in agony as the burning sensation got stronger.

"I'll ask again." He got closer while hovering the blade near my face. "What did that thing do?"

"I...I won't...let you..." I responded with what strength I had left.

Teviel huffed. "It seems that you are a lost cause. That monster has gotten to you." I took that as an insult. I glared at Teviel with hate.

"Loona is not a monster! YOU ARE!!" I coughed hard after shouting at him.

Teviel's eyes widen. "You're blind. How else would you...wait a minute?" He looked at me. "Don't tell me. You have feeling for that demon?"

I relaxed myself and closed my eyes. "The last few days I've spent with her, I will never forget those precious moments...And yes." I stared at him. "I do love her."

"YOU IDIOT!" Teviel grabbed my collar. "SHE'S A DEMON FROM HELL!! INCAPABLE OF LOVE AND PEACE!!! SHE WAS JUST USING YOU!"

"LIKE THE WAY YOU USED PEOPLE FOR YOUR OWN DAMN GOAL!?!"

"What I'm trying to do is purge all evil residing this world and many others! Look around you! For years sinister humans have taken mother nature and God's beautiful work for granted. They lie. They cheat. They steal. They destroy!" He let go of me and walked towards the open inside the warehouse. "This world is cursed with many humans with vileness in their hearts! Whores! Murderers! Terrorists! ALL OF THEM ARE FILTHY PIGS!" He then turned to me. "Only through my path of redemption can this planet survive, and destroy Hell and all evil!"

"You're insane!" I shouted. "You can't kill them just because they have different opinions! It's their right to choose their path! You are not a god!"

Teviel laughed sadistically. "My boy. You are wrong. I am God's angel! THE ANGEL OF DEATH!" He walked towards me.

Unknown to us, Loona, Octavia, and the I.M.P. members arrived in the shadows. They were shocked to see my injuries and are even more disturbed by Teviel's madness. Loona's eyes were filled with hellish rage after seeing what he's done to me. Her rage was so strong that she wanted to kill him with her own fangs. But Octavia told her to wait until she can blast that book out of his hand. Loona, itching to attack, restrained herself as Octavia quietly chanted her spell.

Teviel held my chin up, looking directly at me. "Now. As clear as daylight, you are a few steps away from death. Your actions will forever be condemned you to suffer for all eternity. Yet even now it's still not too late. If you tell me how she did it, I'll spare you from this pain and the next. So, tell me. WHAT. DID. SHE. DO?"

I spit blood on his eyes as a response. "Fuck...you..."

Teviel's eyes changed. They were even more demonic than the last time. Even his teeth were different: Fangs from one side to another. He was more deranged than ever before.
