Helluva Friend

Chapter 6

Note: This is a flashback chapter.

A few days after the beach monster indecent, Loona came back to the human realm in her human form. She walked to the station where they were holding Vortex, a male Hellhound that she meet before the monster thing.

Vortex was a muscular male Hellhound with a scar on his left eye, and a wolf head tattoo on his left arm. Was was also a bodyguard for the infamous pop star Verosika Mayday, Loona's adopted father's Ex. Blitzo and Verosika made a bet to see who can kill or have sex more than the other. Blitzo won. And Versosika and her henchmen were arrested by the police, believing them to be the cause of the killer fish event.

Loona developed a crush on him at first sight. She came along with her partners and Blitzo just to get close to him, so that she can get to know him better and be romantically involved with him. This led to her ditching work, drive away Blitzo, even though she wanted to apologize later on, and then ignore the entire chaos, all just to be with Vortex.

This was going well for her until he told her one thing that ached her heart: Vortex already has a girlfriend, and only sees Loona as a friend. This upsetted her. She felt like he took her heart and threw it in the trash. Oh how she wishes he would date her, have sex with her, and much much more.

In denial, she tried to find the prison where he's being held at. The reason is this; if she rescues him, Vortex will dump his girlfriend and date her instead! She even used up all her hard own money, as well as stealing Moxxie's money, Just so she could bail him out. This was her only chance.

Soon she meet him behind bars. She was so happy to see him, and hoped with all her might that she would date him. She soon talked to the man in charge and paid for Vortex to be free. Versosika was angered by this and curses at Loona and orders Vortex to come back. They just ignored her and the two walked out of the there.

"I can't thank you enough Loona. You really saved my ass back there." Said Vortex. Loona's face was turning red with excitement.

"No problem. Heheh. So....uhhh. You want to hang out now, I mean, after we get back?" Loona was trying not to be socially awkward, but she couldn't help it. In her eyes, Vortex was very hot, and very strong. She also can't help but daydream about him loving her.

"Sure thing. But first, there's something I need to do."

"Well what is it?" Loona's eyes were gleaming with hope. This was it! He was going to say he'll dump his girlfriend and date Loona. She was so excited that if she was in her original hellhound form, her tail would be wagging like crazy.

"I'm going to propose to my girlfriend"

"...What?"

"Heheh. You heard me. I'm gonna ask her to marry me. Because you are never gonna believe this! My girl is actually 2 weeks pregnant! And I'm gonna be a daddy! Isn't that great?"

Loona couldn't believe it. Vortex, the hellhound of her dreams, has a pregnant girlfriend and is now planing to marry her. She couldn't say anything. She looked down on the ground with disbelief.

"Loona? You in there?" Vortex asked.

"Tex. You...you're gonna marry her?"

"That's the plan."

"But...what about me?" Loona tried one last time to get him the message.

"You can come to the celebration if you want. I'm sure my girl would love to meet you."
