Helluva Friend

Chapter 17

Loona landed on the floor at that very same spot where she opened a portal to before coming to the Beach City. She was back to her birth realm. She was back in Hell.

She got up and looked frantically for the same portal she went through, but it was already closed. After feeling her magic coming back to her, she tried to grab her book to open the portal again. But there was a problem: her book was not with her! She remembered that she dropped the book while coming to my aid before I pushed her back home. The book was still there with me and Teviel.

"NO! NO NO NO NO NO!" Loona tried desperately to open a portal anyway, but it was no use. Without the Grimoire, she was stuck here. And worst part of it all was that I was greatly injured by Teviel. Knowing his insanity, Loona feared that my life would end soon. She dropped to the floor and began crying.

"Bogy. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!" She said while flooding her eyes with tears. It was hopeless. She thought I was going to die, and that she would never admit her feelings for me.

"Loona? Loona is that you?" A voice appeared behind her. Loona looked back and saw her best friend, Octavia. Loona wanted to run up and hug her, but remembered what she did in the past and looked down. Then all of a sudden, Octavia ran up to her, Embracing her tightly. Loona was very surprised.

"Octy. I...I thought you hated me." Loona said.

"I did at first." Octavia "But after you went missing, I helped the others in an attempt to find you. But, We couldn't find you anywhere. I fear that you might have been killed during extermination day. I...I felt horrible for what I've just said."

Loona blinked. "No. you had every right to mad at me. I really didn't think straight. Please...Forgive me."

"Of course I forgive you. You're my best friend, and a big sister to me." Loona and Octavia kept hugging for a while. Loona smiled. She thought Octavia would leave her again. But no. She accepted her back, and the two reconciled their friendship. Then Octavia looked up at Loona. "Where have you been?"

"I was hiding at the living realm and...wait...Octavia! The Grimoire!" Loona quickly got up, followed by Octavia. "Does your dad have it?"

Octavia can see desperation in Loona's eyes. This was serious. "Well, no. But your dad still has it. My dad is having a talk with him back at the palace, discussing where you could be."

"Octavia." Loona grabbed Octavia's hand and ran back to Stolas's palace. "I need that book. I have to get back, and fast!"

"But, why do you need to get back?" Octavia asked as she ran with Loona.

"I'll explain on the way!"

At Stolas's palace, Blitzo was drowning in his own misery over her missing daughter. Millie and Moxxie came along trying to get him to come back and get his act together. Of course, this filled only deaf ears. Even Stolas was worried.

Stolas is the Goetic prince of the underworld. Like Octavia, Stolas was an owl demon. But the difference was that he has red eyes no pupil or iris, blue and dark blue feathers with white and gray accents. And above all, he is very tall. While he does love his family, especially his daughter Octavia, Stolas often engages an extramarital affair with Blitzo. Nevertheless, Stolas does whatever it takes to keep his family happy.

"Blitzy. I'm sure she's out there. Perhaps, we're not thinking outside Hell." Stolas said trying to cheer Blitzo up.

"But where?" Blitzo said while eating another cookie. "My precious baby could be anywhere in Hell, or...or..."
