       Love One Last Time

    Dylan gasped for air and opened his eyes. Nico stood beside him..watching him with concern. “Dylan.. mabuti naman at—“

            “Si Cassandra?”

            “I’m sorry.. tatlong araw kang walang malay and…she..she’s back in her kingdom.”

            He looked away.. his chest constracting painfully, not from the physical wound but from the pain inside. “Paano nyo ako nakita?”

            “You turned your tracker on remember? And..Jared also followed you. How stupid is that, Dylan?”

            “Prepare the jet.. pupuntahan ko si Cassandra—“

            “No. we’re not even allowed to enter their country..o baka naman gusto mong mapaaga ang giyera laban sa mga bampira!?” Nico angrily shouted at him. Sabay-sabay namang pumasok ang iba pa nilang kaibigan. They wear worried look on their faces…

            “The war is on. Pinirmahan na ng reyna ng mga bampira ang doktrinang nagbibigay karapatan sa lahat ng bampirang pumatay ng mga hunters at kung sino man ang magtangka sa buhay nila,” Phillip informed them. “Any day now..pwede na nilang sugurin ang main base natin dito..and worst..pwede din nilang saktan ang mga tao.”

            He sighed.. parang isang daang karayom ang tumutusok sa puso nya.. ‘She already accepted her fate..pero paano ko tatanggapin ang kapalaran ko kung sya ang kailangan kong patayin?’

            “Dylan, you have to make a decision. Nandito kami sa likod mo.. susuportahan ka namin. Pero sana..isipin mo muna ang milyong tao na nakasalalay ang buhay satin. Your fate’s now calling your name.. and you can’t just ignore it.. dahil isang maling galaw.. mamamatay tayong lahat,” Nico said, staring directly in his eyes.

“Tinanggap na nya ang buong pagkatao nya, Dylan.. it’s time for you to accept yours.. wala ng puwang ang pagmamahal dyan sa puso mo.. All you have to do is kill her at matatahimik na ang mundo.”

            “In the first place..five years ago.. hindi na natin dapat hinayaang lumala ng ganito ang sitwasyon. Vampires are monsters.. kahit anong pagpilit ng reyna na ihalubilo sila sa tao..hindi nila kaya.. They are made to drink and kill humans..and we are made to kill them,” Vlad seriously said.. his fist closing tightly beside him.

            “it’s time for you to use the Master hunter’s Sword.. Hindi na elite ang katawan ng reyna.. Kapangyarihan na lang ang meron sya.. her body’s as weak as deprived..”

            Cassandra was forced to sign the doctrine..ayaw nyang lumala ang sitwasyon..she tried to reason to them..but Vox Deii has a point.. Dapat pagbayaran ng hunters ang pag-ubos sa lahi nila. 

            “Damn, Regina.. pinapairal mo na naman ang emosyon mo. And look at what happened ng unahin mo ang emosyon mo?” Simon snapped at her…his eyes blazing with anger.

“Hindi ko inuuna ang emosyon ko. I’m just trying to avoid more complications,” she said, her voice cold but deadly.

“No you’re not. Gusto mong iwasang magkita kayo muli ng hunter.. Hindi pwedeng ganito na lang tayo palagi..trying to fix things while we can stop all of this in one battle. Hindi na natin dapat iwasan ang dinidikta ng tadhana. We are here to live or get killed,” Felix said.

“Stop thinking as the Hunter’s lover..but instead think as the Queen of Vampires. Halos maubos ang lahi natin dahil sa kapabayaan ng Master Hunter.. Pumatay sila ng mga inosenteng bampira para patunayang mahina tayo. Stop avoiding the things that will soon imprison us to death.” Hades stood up…and turned away…
