Chapter 5

 World Turns Over

          Dylan’s gone when Cassandra woke up. She sadly went to her son’s room and talk to him. He looks pale and weak but his eyes’ telling her he’s happy.

            “Bakit parang hindi mawala ang ngiti ng anak ko?” She asked him playfully, poking his cheek with her finger.

            “Papa.. he said matigas ang ulo mo at hindi ka nya kayang alagaan.”        

            She frowned..stinging pain pinched her heart but she still tried to smile.. “Really?”

            “ He do not want to take care of you alone..gusto nya kasama ako..si papa talaga. And you know… Papa said he will give everything you desire. Papa also said that he loves you very much.”

            Her heavy heart suddenly lifts up and tears stung her eyes…

“ I love him too..”

            “Mama..please…be strong.. I can see that something’s troubling papa. I do not want him to face the problems alone.”

            She smiled and cradled his face in her hand. “I will, my prince.”

            “you look sad, regina.”

            She looked at Hades and forced herself to smile. As usual, he is stunningly handsome with the shirt he wore. He looked boyishly young…

            “How old are you?”

            Grinning, he take her hand to his and used his finger to write the number of his age…

            “22?”

            “Yes. And unfortunately stuck with that.”

            “Are you a natural or turned?”

            “Natural, your highness.”

            “How old are you as a vampire?”

            “39.”

            “Oh. You’re still young.”

            “As you are. You look very young, regina.”

            “ I am.”

            Cassandra sighed sadly and closed her eyes… her head is aching with too much information...and too much of Dylan…

            “Gusto mo bang lumabas?”

            “Wala ka bang ibang ginagawa? Nasasayang lang ang oras mo dito.”

            “Hindi nasasayang ang oras ko. Nakikilala ko ang reynang umiwan sa kanyang kaharian.”

            She cringed and opened her eyes. “you’re brave.. Kaya mo akong insultuhin..without doubting.”

            “Practice makes perfect, my queen.” He mockingly bowed his head that made her smile genuinely.

            “gwapo ka.”

            “I know. And I hope my face can affect you.”

            She chuckled and shake her head.. “ You’re very handsome but my eyes only sees one face..”

            “I believe I am more handsome than him.”
