Dying Emotions
“Times up, regina. Kailangan ka na naming ibalik sa ating bansa.”
Hades’ worry-etched face told her that the country badly needed her.. as well as her son and Dylan. She looked at Julian to ask for some support but even he don’t know what to say.
“Julian, can you save my son?”
He stared back at her..and shook his head sadly. “I’m sorry. I can prolong his life but..I cannot prevent the powers to take him.”
“Then why would I agree with your stupid deal?!! Hindi nyo kayang iligtas ang anak ko.. pwes hindi ko sya kayang ipagpalit para sa inyo!!”
“Damn it, your highness!! Hindi mo na kayang iligtas ang anak mo!!! But you can still save your people!!! They needed you now!! Nagkakaloko-loko na ang buhay ng mga bampira!!” Hades angrily throw at her.. She can see the fire in her eyes..
“Hindi ko iiwan ang anak ko at si Dylan.”
She’s shocked when Simon attacked her but Hades’ fast enough to throw him away from her. Their fangs showed and are ready to fight. And now..she wished Dylan’s here.. but he’s also busy protecting his own position..
“Pwes, kung ayaw mong sumama samin, anak mo ang isasama namin,” Phillip shouted up the stairs with Dycon in his arm.
Her anger burst out, her eyes turned bloody red and the temperature went down…
“You know well I can kill you with just a snap of my finger,” she hissed, her voice turning into cursed elite. The black mark’s starting to cover her body, her nails and fangs lengthened.
Within seconds, she got hold of her son’s body while tearing Phillip’s chest. Blood oozed on her finger..and she licked it.. She’s about to attack him again but the other knights has already taken him away. And before they vanished… Julian hurt her with his words.
“It’s not Neziah’s fault that our home is now destroyed.. it is yours..and your selfishness. That’s Karma, yang nangyayari sa anak mo. Sya ang nagbabayad sa kasalanang ginawa nyo ng mahal mo.”
“Mama?” She hadn’t noticed that she’s been standing and holding her son for almost fifteen minutes.
“Mama? You’re crying.”
She smiled at him and wiped her tears. “Pasensya na. Tara na sa taas. Magpahinga ka na ulit.”
She carried him to his room and laid him on his bed. She kissed his forehead and is about to stand up when his small hands stop her.
“It is not your fault, mama.”
“I-I—“
“Mama, you’ll have to let me go. Kailangan ka na po ng mga tao natin.”
She stubbornly shake his head and cupped his cheek. “Hindi ka mawawala sakin. Hindi ka pwedeng sumuko ha, anak? You know I will die kapag sumuko ka. Makakahanap tayo ng gamot—”
Dycon bit his lower lip and tears fall down his cheek. He closed his eyes till he fall asleep.
