Alpha Mates (Lone Star Pack 6)

Good news?

Texas POV...

"Houston you should eat more vegetables," my mother complains as I push the greens to one side of my plate. It was annoying we had family dinner on fridays. I was just waiting until it was over to head out and meet up with Rick.

"I know," I finally reply and take it up but the moment I took a whiff of the green spinach my stomach starts to churn.

Dropping it, I just leave it on my plate, even as my mother scrutinizes me with her eyes.

After dinner was finished I excused myself from the dinner table and went outside. It was about 6 pm now and the sun had just start to set.

Heading out I decided to go to the cabin a little early. As I was setting out I heard, "Texas wait up," turning around I watched as a unfamiliar girl ran up to me.

She had hair as red as fire, her entire face was cover in freckles . She was dress in a white shirt, with blue Jean's and sandals, her entire appearancejust screamed innocence. "Who are you," I inquired after realizing I didn't know her.

"Oh sorry I'm new to the pack, I'm Grace, I'm one of the rogue wolves the pack took in," she says cheerful.

"Oh," was all I could say as I honestly don't know why she would stop me, she most have saw the concern on my face "I'm sorry I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself, " she blushed and say.

"Ok hi," I reply and walk away. I didn't have time to continue talking to her. "Rick was waiting on me and I didn't like her" I thought, as I marched away.

After making sure no one was following me, i took off sprinting. Running was one of my favorite activities, I was enjoying myself until I suddenly felt dizzy.

Right away the world starts to spin and I fall to the ground. I was too weak, my body wouldn't listen to me as I tried to move.

Rick POV

I was walking when I found him, Texas was lying on the ground out cold. I was frantic as I approached him.

Looking over his body I made sure he wasn't wounded. "Texas are you ok, you gotta wake up," I tell him as I try see if I can get him moving.

It was no use. Gently I picked him off the ground and brought him back to the cabin in my arms. Their was no bed here. It was only a rug and cushion present.

Putting him to rest, I waited to see if he would get better. Minutes turned into hours and yet he still was not getting up.

Seeing him like this crushed my heart! I don't want him to suffer. I don't know he'll get up but I had to find help.

He needed to see a doctor, if I brought him back to any of the packs it would cause, people to be suspicious. And Texas wasn't ready for us to come out as yet.

Their was only one person that could bring him back home and that was his pretend girlfriend Sally. Rushing to the Sliver wing pack I ask to speak to the Alpha.

Instead of seeing him i was greeted by the Luna, she was a beautiful lady of Asian descent. "Sorry my husband it's here, is there anything i can help you with," she came to me and asked.

"Yeah,  I'm just here to give something to Sally," i lied. "Oh that's good! She's in the kitchen playing with my little brother. "Thanks," I reply as I leave her office followed by a wolf she asked to escort me there.

Heading into the kitchen. I saw Sally and a young boy sitting at the table, his name was robin if I'm not mistaken.

"Hey Sally," I yell as I waived to both of them, right away I could see the dissatisfaction printed on their face. "What do you want now " sally looked at me skeptically and asked.
