Rick's pov

Today was a welcome party that all three packs held for me.

Mostly it was people I didn't know all over the place.

But Bradshaw kept on introducing and pointing out everyone to me. "There she is he tells me," as he points out beautiful brunette. All he could talk about was Sally.

According to what she told me, she was the younger sister to the Alpha of the Silver wing pack. Their alpha was the youngest of all three, he was just 27 and his sister 18.

"How do I look," Bradshaw asked me as he interrupted my thoughts. Pretending to look at him, "your looking good bro," I reply. "Sweet, your my wing man," he tells me as he lays out his plan to woo Sally.

Heading over I bump into her my accident, "ahh sorry my bad," I lied, "its ok just watch where your going next time," she tells me and starts to walk off.

"I'm Rick, Kenny's son," I say as to grab her attention before she leaves, "I know who you are and I know why you here, tell your cousin for the thousandth time I'm not interested in him.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I'll let him know," I smiled and say, I respected her for be so forward with turning him down. It was better than being strang along.

I was just about to walk off when this kid comes up and ask her, "is he bothering you Sally," looking at him he couldn't be more than thirteen.

"Robin, what are you doing here," she inquired looking at sternly. The little kid actually turn his attention to me, "I came to protect you from assholes like this," he explained as he looked at me with hostility in his eyes.

"It's ok Robin, he's cool," she tells him, I appreciate her for claiming the little guy. Turns out he was their new Luna's younger brother, so he gets protective of her.

We talked for a bit before I went back to Bradshaw.  "What did she say," he asked me right away. Taking a deep breath, I tap him and his shoulder and informed him, that she wasn't interested.

After that I could tell he was hurt, it wasn't like they were mates. So he'll get over it.

Threw the night I meet a few people here and their. Their was one cute girl but she was too young. Her name was Katy. She was the Alpha's daughter from the Lone star pack.

"Hey look," Bradshaw says as he points to another young lady from the Sliver wing pack. But as my vision shifted it came in contact with a guy.

I couldn't turn away from him, he was beautiful or spectacular.   In fact he looked a messed,  with his face swollen, black and blue.

But still he had me captivated, I just wanted to hold him and tell him, everything would be ok, "hey bro, what do you thing," Bradshaw shakes me and says.

Automatically I respond, "yeah yeah, lovely, who's that guy their?" Pointing my finger in his direction.

"Oh that's, Texas. He's the next Alpha of his pack just like you," he says to me. "Alpha," I thought to myself.

"Do you know what happened to him?" I asks Bradshaw again. I don't know why but just seeing how bad he was injured, made me angry. I might even wanna kill who did that to him.

"You didn't hear?" Bradshaw says next, shaking my head, he then proceeds to tell me about a how he was beaten by his dad and that he might be gay!

"Gay, is here really gay," I wondered. Looking at him, he wasn't what i pictured as your typical gay man.

Even though i knew he might me gay I was still interested in him, all night my eyes followed him everywhere he went.

So when he ventured into the woods, I natural followed him after I took off my clothing and transformed into my wolf, he went further and further until he left pack lands.

He was now on standing in a wooded area.  I waited patiently to see what would happen.

Then coming from the shadows another boy comes up and embraces him.

From his scent I could tell he was a rogue.  They stayed in each others arms for a few minutes before parting. I could hear most of their conversation.

The other boy was leaving and he wanted Texas to come with him. My heart tightened with anxiety at the thought of loosing him. "I couldn't let that happen," I tell myself.

Luckily Texas next words let me put my worries to rest, he refused to go and broke up with the rogue boy.

I was so excited. "You are now mine," I declared from the shadows.

Texas  pov

"Yes sir," I told my dad as I left his office, he informed me I would be going to the Crescent moon pack leaving the youth in the welcome party they were having to greet Alpha Kenny's son.

Leaving his office a youth pressure came off my shoulder. We didn't talk about what happened.  I could only thank the moon.

Heading out with the some of the younger wolves we made our way to the Crescent moon pack.

After arriving we all slit up, except for Houston. He was sticking to my side like glue, in his words, "he doesn't want me to anything stupid."

Knowing he would do this, I called the human girl "Sidney," he liked and told her were we would be, once she arrived I could go to our meet spot.

Heading into the woods, I make my way until I'm their , this was the spot George and I usually came too.

It didn't take long for George to cone out, from his hiding spot. Not seeing each other for so long.

Pulling him in for a hug, we stayed liked this for minutes.  "What are you planning George, why didn't you come back with your dad?" I asked him.

"I'm not going back to that homophobic pack, Tex. There's this pack in Florida that accept gay wolves like us, we can go there and be yourself, come with me, you'll finally be happy " he announces.

It didn't take long for me to decide, "no, I can't, George. Their are too many people here I care about, my mom, sister and brother. Plus I'm the next Alpha," I tell him.

It wasn't an option,  I couldn't run and leave those whom i love. "listen Tex, I know you love them, but do you think you can love them from the grave,  your dad is going to kill you,"  he warns me.

Laughing I look at him and say, "next time, I won't just let him beat me, if I'm gonna die George, I'll die fighting."

"I see you've already made up your mind, then I wish you the best Tex," he says before leaving into the night.

To be honest I was sad he was gone but I knew I had to focus, I can't let my father dictate my life. As I was walking I heard footsteps behind me.

I turned around expecting it to be George. Oh how I was wrong.
