Alpha Mates (Lone Star Pack 6)

Hiding a secret.

Texas POV

"Could you say that again?" I tell Rick, I had just gotten up when he rushed to my side.

"Oh ah, well you see, some male wolves can get pregnant and it turns out your one... so we are having a baby," he mutters.

"Hmm, ha ha, good one, wow if you could be a comedian," I laughed out. "Texas I'm not joking your one month pregnant and you fainted because of stress," he looked into my eyes and say.

Seeing the his eyes like this, I knew he wasn't joking but then my mind wonders off. "Hey Texas, Texas," he yells to get back my attention.

"Its gonna be ok," he declares as he kiss me on my forehead. "How is this possible," I finally ask him. "Well you see when two wolves like each other and one decides to top and other decides to bottom. The bottom wolf can get..  ," he was babbling when I cut him off. "What are you doing, are you mocking me?"

"No never, I was just practicing on you how I would explain to our kid once he starts ask questions about his birth," he joked. "Kid," I thought as I put my hand on my flat stomach.  It was hard to believe that life was growing inside me.

Honestly  I was scared, bot only would I have to worry for myself now I would have a baby to think about. Rick must have saw my thoughts because he says next, "your not in this alone, I'm hear, this is my baby as well," he says while comforting me by place his hand on my stomach as well.

Their was a sort of magical felling to knoeingvyou cared life together, "June says it's a 4 month period of pregnancy and you'll deliver in your wolf form so you'll be ok, plus she'll help you deliver," he explains.

"Wait who's June," I inquired, I've never heard of her before, so I was curious.

"June is the Luna of the Sliver wing pack, she's agreed to help us and keep our secret," he tells me.

Right away I jump up and screech,  "Rick you told the Luna of the Silver wing pack about us, Rick are you crazy, what if she tells me dad? He'll kick both of us, this might even start a war between our packs."

"Listen, she's promised to keep our secret, you don't have to worry, theirs no need to stress, you'll just faint again," he says .

But I wasn't having it, "Rick you don't get it, I'm suppose to be Alpha, if my dad finds out the Alpha next door knock up his son, it will be war, wolves will die. The peace that our three packs managed to build will be destroyed," I explained angrily.

"What should I have done you tell me, I see you on knock out not move Texas, should I have left you on the ground to be found. Oh right I should have brought you back to your back, no that wouldn't be suspicious, ahh I should have gotten your brother here, then they would have found the cabin and took you to the pack doctor,  that's what I should have done," he yells.

"You know what, I'm gonna go," I March pass him and say as I leave the cabin. "Where are you going, " he shouts after me.

"Its been awhile since I left I'm gonna go home and see if I can fix this problem," I declared as I walked away.

Rick pov

I was upset and angry with Texas, I can't believe he just left like that, he just blame me.

"Someone is upset," Bradshaw ran up behind me and say, seeing my cousin it help calm down chaotic emotions."I'm fine just thinking about a lot," I lied.

"That's understandable, with you been Alpha and you trying to break the curse, thiers a lot on your plate. I get it,"  he says to me.

Looking at him, I couldn't believe he got it, "Thanks plus with a stubborn mate that wouldn't listen to reasoning I gets worse," I say out loud. By the time I  realise what I did to was already too late.

"What you found your mate already? This is so great," Bradshaw yelled out. Covering his mouth,"can you stop shouting," I tell him. Seeing him nodding his head I remove my hand.

"So what's the dead with you finding your mate," he whispers out. Looking around I drag him back to my cabin.

"Listen it's a secret and I better not hear a word about this from anyone," I demanded.

"Bro this will be our secret," he says, taking a deep breath I told him must of the truth.

"Wow you think found you've mate but their just seventeen and your waiting until their eighteen to bring them back to the pack," he reiterates.

"Basically yeah," I respond. "Damn you luckily now I get it, she was the one in your office the other day, no wonder you were off putting,  you're a sly wolf," he jeered me.

"So tell me about this chick that's gonna be our next Luna, is she a blonde or red head, is she pretty as Sally," he inquired.

Letting out a sigh I decided to cone clean with my cousin, I might as well thrust him with some of my secrets after all he is the pack Beta.

"Bradshaw it's not a girl," I reply, "not a girl, " he says with a puzzling look on his face.

"My mates a guy and yes he looks a thousand times better than Sally," I inform him proudly.

"Wow never thought you were into guys bro," he smiles and say. "Is their a problem with that," I ask him.

"Are you kidding of course not, bro i wouldn't care if it your mate was a blood sucker, as long we can break this curse," he expressed.

"Good," I uttered, it was good knowing I had his support. "So when do I get to see our luna," Bradsw8ask me again.

"Soon, soon," I declared with a knowing smile.

Sliver wing pack.

"So you really believe those two are mates," Sally questions June as she expressed doubt in powers.

"Have I ever been wrong," June replays back as she took up a cup of tea to drink

No but.." she mumbled not being able to give a good reply.

"I could sense the chi of connection between the both of them. They're destined to be mates, there's no doubt about it," she maintain.

"In fact I could sense that someone in the his pack in is connected to you and destined to be your mate." June informs her after taking another sip of her tea.

"Sis your not kidding, who is it," Sally Jumps up and questioned.

"I'm not sure but next time we can stop by there pack and take a look, i should be able to see the chi that connects you both," she declares .
